Just perfect, dude...the sustain on that thing is phenomenal...it must be a real thrill to play a 59 Les Paul...Les Pauls rule.

Is he performing any specific songs, or is he simply improvising on the blues?

Had a 59 Les Paul in 84 and sold it for 1500 bucks.Damn!But i was just a kid then and didn't know what it was.And 40 years ago they were not very expensive.I actually bought it for 1500 bucks so i didn't lose any money on it but i sure wish i had that guitar today.

I can get those sounds from a 2022 Gibson.

These damn les Paul's do sound better after a neck break - repair probably because it's more stable, ? Who knows , it's a great guitar

Nice. What is the signal chain? Delay, reverb etc? Looks like the BluGuitar amp. Let’s try to play it thru a regular tube amp with no effects to cover the tone. Though it sounds good…. Need to test it with that bonamassa twin sitting there. All those effects mask the guitar’a real tone. This is a good video but let’s be honest that amp colors the tones and drenches it in effects

Awesome tones, sounds very versatile! I wonder if it can nail that Modern Hard Rock/Alternative Metal type tone if tuned lower, I'm talkin' Crossfade, Breaking Benjamin, Dark New Day etc... \m/
