Toyota Safety Features: Shift Lock Release

I changed the battery and after 2 days -- no dealer call.

Excellent resource. I waited for over 2 hours for the dealer to return my call, so I viewed the video. My 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid can now be pushed out of the garage and flat bedded to the dealer via AAA.

Could also use the key hidden in your fob for my camry..

How do you put the button back on?

My Toyota Corolla gear is in D but on my dash board says S and engine light and crf light came on, when I stuck in snow,, so how to reset ??

Thank you very much. I'm in a 2016 Kia Soul. I just pulled in my drive way on a Sunday morning I've noticed this little button before but never really knew what it did. Your video explained it very well. My shift lock release is just above the Park. The cap literally reads SHIFT LOCK RELEASE. Thanks again.

Sir Im a new driver . Can I know about shifter button. When I press the shift liver P to newtrel there need to push shifter button.but when I move the gear liver drive to newtrel there I can to move with out pressing shifter button.

Do you need to keep holding it down when pushing the car ? I know you need to hold the button to shift into Neutral but once shifting into N do you need someone to continue holding it down or be hands free and push down again when ready to shift back into Park?

On my fortuner 2012 the Shift Lock is a pressable button, is it a different function??
