My favorite is charmander because the first Pokémon card I saw was Charizard but when I saw the lower evelution I thought he was so cute

my favorite is the very sought after holo Charizard. My dad (the tooth fairy) bought it for me as a kid he told me when I got older he said he paid 25$ for it it was my first card in a top loader. Some kids brother in our neighborhood stole it while hanging out at our house. One day I will get it back. Think about it a lot.

my fave all time pokemon of all 1,000+ IS a gen 1 pokemon. Sanddlash because it was the first hedgehog/echidna pokemon.

Gyarados is my favorite of all time simple because of the gameboy red version.
I’d end the game with 3-4 gyarados, one would have water attacks, one with fire, and one with electric. Gyarados dominated that game!

I know this ended a while ago but my fave Gen 1 has always been Dragonair. I always include it in my teams with an overtone so it doesn't evolve. Why? Looks and because it always brought peace / feeling of peace when looking at it. All chill , calm and collected.
