Thank you, very didactic!!
I'm trying to use multicam for 2 points of view of a game. I know how to multicam so they go back and forth but i would like a mini preview of each of them whenever they're not in focus. So for example, POV 1 is the focus, i would like the POV in a small preview video on the bottom right and when I switch the multicam, I want POV 2 as the focus and a small preview video on the top left for POV 1. And if possible, a smooth transition, like, the small preview video becomes larger while the other becomes smaller and each occupy their corresponding spot as the one the focus is on and the mini preview.
I don't know if I made sense, still trying to figure it out.
Anyway, awesome video!
Thanks again!
Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you for your amazing tutorials, I am fairly new to premier pro and I only use it for a bit of fun not in a professional capacity and I find your video's very helpful
ОтветитьThanks for this super professional tutorial. One question: should I use grouping or nesting for multicam? I have mp4's from cam1 and cam2, both filmed on greenscreen. I key out the greenscreen, lay in a background, and then tried nesting cam1 mp4 with the background, hoping multicam would see it as "cam1." Alas... Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
ОтветитьThank you for this wonderful tutorial.
ОтветитьYou forgot to mention that you can name nested clips and then change the label color ... works well when the audio and video are the same length
Ответитьthat was incredibly awesome! I've been looking at tutorials and grappling with a definitive conclusion regarding the differences and similarities and you nailed it dude. a lot of the videos out there told me how to do these things but I already had that in the manual, and although they give explanations of sorts hearing it from somebody who's using it is a whole different experience and much more like me so thank you for your time and effort you get a big like and a subscribe for me. I've seen some of your stuff in the past and after this one I don't want to lose track of you. great channel thanks.
Ответитьhey I am confused how I speed up a group they all separate how can I fix that ?
ОтветитьI do have a question about end credit. How can I make the ending credits more interesting when I’m the writer, producer, director, editor I mean I feel like an idiot when all the names are me any tips on how I could just make it better?
ОтветитьColins, you make us the best video editors of the 21 century..thank you
ОтветитьHi video Revealed does nesting affects the quality of my video?
ОтветитьYou have to make sure the 'Linked Selection' icon in the timeline header (third from left from spanner icon) is on (blue) otherwise selections will not group
ОтветитьThanks a lot Mr Collins!
ОтветитьYou are so methodical! I get the feeling that you are the only guy who truly understands what is it all about... Ok, maybe not the only one, but these fundamentals nobody else on YT explains this clearely, which is essential when explaining to begginers.
Thanks!
Thank you! :)
ОтветитьDear Colin, you are really a great teacher! I also like your choice of topics and the depth you explore them with. I'd like to ask you for your opinion on which tool to use in a, I guess, very special case if you find the time.
I have four conversations on the same topic with 2-3 persons, 4-5 audio recordings and 2 cameras for each conversation. I want to intertwine these conversations by using only the best moments in one video. I also have some effects on each of these four conversations (about an hour long each).
So on the one hand I want to have the advantage of being able to alter the effects for all the small pieces of each one of the conversations at the same time. That would be a great use of nesting I if I got that right.
But I also need the easy option to later decide which camera angle I want for each little conversational highlight depending on how it fits in my final edit in regard to the neighbouring highlights. This should be difficult if every piece is part of a bigger nested sequences isn't it?
After watching your video I am thinking of using grouping but I am not sure if this helps with both my needs, i.e. the option to change the effects on my source sequences all at once.
What would you do in this situation?
I am running Premiere Pro ver 13.1 and the group feature is not doing what it supposed to do. I have 3 photos in three different tracks, when I select them and right-click and select Group, the three items are still behaving like they are not grouped
ОтветитьHey super useful! Thank youu!
ОтветитьHaha, it's funny to watch you. Anyhow, you're great!
Ответитьthank you ! By the way, you have the same voice of Saul in the TV Show "Better Call Saul" !!!
ОтветитьIf you use Markers to indicate the in n out you can easily see where your video lane ends...
ОтветитьVery useful.
ОтветитьMast 💖
ОтветитьYou're the man!
ОтветитьI’m blown away. Every video I’ve seen of yours is super helpful! Subscribed yesterday. Already was able to finish a project last night because of your channel. Thank you!
ОтветитьHi, I had to nest a few clips as I needed to zoom in and out of the whole screen, which seemed easier than zooming on all assets individually. When I exported as an mp4 the resolution quality had reduced and looked slightly blurry - do you know why this happened? (I'm new to Prem Pro!) Thanks
Ответитьwhats the difference between a nest and a subsequence? when i add a subsequence to the timeline i can choose it be nested or not with that designated button, if i nest a sequence directly on the timeline its just not an item in my project panel? so it just becomes an independant instance? right?
ОтветитьGreat Sir Love from Pakistan
ОтветитьBest!
ОтветитьGracias. I am always learning. I do appreciate your work.
ОтветитьIn my style of videos, I would get lost without nests! Love them like a bird!
ОтветитьThanks collin ! Always great tutorial
ОтветитьAs always great explanation of what's going on in Premiere Pro. Thank You so much.
Ответитьheel mooi uitgelegd ga het effe uit proberen
ОтветитьThanks ... 🍻👌🏻
Ответить@Video Revealed - can you talk about render order of effects, specifically around when you nest and use that nested time line on other time lines? It seems I often have to nest timelines to ensure rendering of them happens in the order I need... is there some magic going on with Nesting in this area?
ОтветитьThis is so interesting for me, as always, thanks video revealed!
Ответитьwow I finally figure out difference between the group and nest ,thank you
ОтветитьHow did you create that 3D-logo spin and bring it in to Premier?
