Here’s the thing, e-sports isn’t like regular sports where there’s a legit reason why females and males are separate. There’s clearly a biological imbalance that would make it unfair, but with esports everyone is on an even field. Making a team solely based on sex in a sport where sex is irrelevant is just weird and unnecessary. I’m sure there’s plenty of girls who are skilled players that if they really wanted to, they could grind hard enough to make into the professional scene. Also, that team was clearly put together by some douche who wanted conventionally attractive women to be the face of their brand not actual good players..

If you ever find yourself having to create an all female team to "prove they can compete with the men", i think youve already lost.

The idea was conceived because of the actual fact, that men, are already proving their better.

Why? Because women have things like friends and romantic interests. Guys that play league on a competition level have exactly one thing...league. I hate when women try to shoehorn their way into male spaces where they aren't wanted or needed.

There are several modern esports teams that have a woman on their team, or maybe even multiple, the problem comes that when creating an all female team, you are creating an artificial requirement that does not exist for other teams. Other esports teams can have both male and female players.

Currently just because of general interests, esports at that tier is mostly men. When you remove that large pool of players, you are doomed to fail. Play because of skill, not gender.

The problem with all girls teams is that they are generally selected due to being girls, while the other teams are selected due to being good. It is a plenty possible for girls to be just as good, but an all girls team is the wrong way to prove it, whereas one making it onto a team normally would actually prove it

Statistically, there are plenty of ALL MALE TEAMS that get slaughtered, so why this gets brought up baffles me, there has to be teams on the bottom of the leader boards, tin and bronze tiers be full of male players, so now that we remembered that fact, fucken, stop, with this shit - my partner quit the game because of how cringe shit got over the course of a year playing, and after a while, who would want to play when you have what seems like everyone just doubting you, insulting you, and creating an invisible barrier that keeps you out.
