As always brilliant review and backing it up with great surfing on all the board's you review.I have bought 2 boards from videos thanks to your knowledge and awesome break downs .They both have suited me well..My question is what exactly are the blue fins,size etc? I have this board but I don't love it to be honest.I believe it has potential .I want to try other fins,not just the Kiel fins.,,,Thanks mate...

I got one of these couple months ago...it was shaped for dane reynolds...it's a really good board specially living in florida gets plenty of speed and nice off the top action

Hey great review! I test rode the off the rack 5'6 x 19 x 2'5 1/6 yesterday. 26lts...
My normal board I've been surfing is 26ltrs , 5'10 ( can't quit read the dimensions but it's 18 x something 2 x something)
Would you think I'd be ok to stick with the 5'6 pu?
I was unsure if the 5'7 might be a bit too much volume. I'm about 5'7 58kg

My standard Daily Driver is a 5'8 JS Monsta Box in HYFI-I found a 5'6 in Spinetek online-since you have ridden both boards would you think 5'6 would be a good size? Thanks mate

Hi, Noel! I’m 6’1, 187 lbs. 7 years surfing expiriens.
My quiver was: FireWire tj pro 9’0 57L and FireWire seaxe 7’10 57L. At last year want to go shorter board and buy FireWire greedy beaver 6,8 for transition. Wait board for a year, but it was strongly damaged during transportation. Waiting for new board - another year, so long. So I take that what was able in our store (not a lot of boards) - FireWire addvance 6,6, 47L. Have a hard and frustrating June (after longer board). But now feel on it absolutely confident. But it’s defenetly to much volume.
Want buy fishbeard - think about 6,4 or 6,2.
What you think 6,4 have more volume (6 L less than my board, so transition would be earthier, I suppose). But maybe I should go to 6,2 or even 6,0 ?
And another question - what board you thinck more user friendly for novic shorboarder like me - fishbeard or donunator 2,0?
Going to take both of them. But whant take fishbeard first….

question on either 5'7 or 5'8 FB? I'm your size 5'9/160 intermediate. my litre range is 28-30, bought the NB2 in ST based on your call at 5'6/27L and suprising works well for me-love that board. I gonna get in Varial for travel in car and closed cell benefits. Want as travel locally and more use on smaller wave board for me, so thinking maybe better 5'8 with more foam.

Fishbeard or Flat Earth in 2-5 ft? Was sold on flat earth but then noticed FB!

How does the fishbeard compare to the black baron from js?

Hi there, what board do you think can handle heavier waves, this board or Flat Earth? If you take one of these sticks as daily driver or even HPSB, in some sessions could be 5-6ft stuff. The decision is how and when adding one of these gems to my current quiver which consists on scifi 5.8, and step up 6,1, thinking in FB 5,7 spinetek . I´m 5,9 and 70Kg, medium-advance.

Hey Noel, quick question, hope you don't mind: if you were only going to buy one set of fins, EN or AM keel, which would you choose for surf up to head high?

I got the js black baron, wich one would fit better in mushy condition? Wich one do you prefer? and PU OR SPINETEK for small waves?

I have the 5.10 fishbeard.. I love it but was thinking of getting a centre plug installed so I can use a nubster fin for extra stability?
What's your thoughts noal?

Enjoy the level of details and bit of humor thrown in. Always have to rewatch these videos several times but have to remind myself to hit likes. For years I just lurked watched no likes on any videos just watching like I would television

Not quite on my game at the moment due to not surfing much, but I got this board and gave it a surfs in decent waves. Average board at best (for me that is). I see a fair amount for sale in "new condition", which always says a lot. If you have cash to burn and just want something different in your quiver, it's ok, you'll have some fun on it. It's just not what the hype (excellent advertising:) makes it out to be. This is my personal opinion, others might have a different experience:)

How do you think the fishbeard would go at Waco? I was considering getting this or a nb2 which I know is a favorite at the pool. Any other newer models stand out, driver 2.0 or sub driver 2.0? What would be your top picks for Waco?

For mediocre 1-5 foot beach break, would you pick the Fishbeard or Astro Pop? I was leaning to the Astro Pop, but just discovered the Fishbeard from your vid and it looks sick.

Could I go with a regular set of fins (FCS2 Firewires Pc Carbon Large) as a twin on a Fishbeard?

Hi Noel, do you have any advice regarding tail pads for the fishbeard? I tried a fishbeard (and loved it) but it didn't have a tail pad. I'm going to buy one and I want a tail pad on mine but I'm not sure if a fish style tail pad (with a high kick) or a regular pad would have any advantage and disadvantages.

How would you compare this board to the ci twin fin? I’m debating on which one I should buy!

Hey Noel, I’d like your opinion on my choice between two boards. I’m very interested in both the pyzel phantom and the Ci fishbeard. I’m leaning more towards the fishbeard in hopes of having more speed and slightly better in less than perfect conditions as we don’t get amazing waves very often. But on the other hand the pyzel just seems like such a simple small-medium wave board that can still grovel decently well. Any thoughts? (Note the pyzel I’m looking at only comes as a thruster at my local shop)
