I’ve always put a wash rag behind my license plate, just to help with the rattling. Yes I know they make sound dampening matts or padding, that helps, but us broke country boys can’t afford all that lol great video man!
ОтветитьI Need Help Parker!
I have 2 12"DB Drive tuning frq.39hz in a Qbomb enclosure 4.5 cubic feet tuned to 47hz . I Need Help Getting down to about 36-38hz
Can anyone please freakin help .. thanks
I built a triple 15in ported subwoofer box for my XFL 1522... It is 4 ft long.. 1 ft and 8 in high.. and 2 ft wide. I have a rectangular port in the bottom front facing my Escalade truck llid. How long should my port be? It is 5 inch tall 2 ft wide
ОтветитьYou did not test to actually see what frequency it’s tuned too, what that box building program tells you is different than reality.
ОтветитьGreat informative video, appreciated ❤
ОтветитьI just made a sealed bass tube with a W65K9D2, I built it using "Subwoofer Tools" (after I converted 0.4 cubic ft in a box to cylinder measurements)! I know it won't hit 35hz with that thing but do you think it will bump?
ОтветитьWait, I have two qbomb 15 enclosures..4-15s ... what my tuning... what combine the boxes?
ОтветитьQuestion: if the speaker manufacturer recommends the port tuning frequency to be 40Hz & you tune the port to 35Hz what would be:
1. The positive & negative effect?
2. Will you be hurting the subwoofer & shortning it's life?
Thanks
Rockville is alright I guess, I like their amps and their powered subs aren’t too bad, but I just blew a new Rockville sub last night, completely unwrapped the voice coil. Just ordered a skar svr-12 to replace it, bought the Rockville setup with the amp, box, wiring, and sub for like 140 on eBay, should be a decent little budget build once I get that skar speaker put in it.
ОтветитьPlease demo test at minimum volume to understand proper performance of Low bass Frequency with crystal clear vocals. That's the Audiophile techniques
ОтветитьMind blowing it's called the actual tuning...
ОтветитьHell yeah ⚠️
Ответитьwhat were the songs you used
ОтветитьMy box was built in account for subs displacement so would inverting them make them hit lower if I have enough room so they don’t hit the backs of my seats
ОтветитьWas that an Orion inline volt meter? If not, please advise to what it was. Thanks.
ОтветитьWish I knew how to do that
ОтветитьIs skar svr good subwoofers
ОтветитьYour enclosure volumne ft3 is just wrong. Length x Width x Height = Your figure of 2.9 is not correct.
ОтветитьOk I got a seriously stupid question I'd like you to test :here's the hypothesis does a sub hit harder if it's put in a ported box then put a sealed box over the front of the ported box (redneck bandpass ) I happen to have a sealed and ported box and think you could do fun video and who knows the results may surprise
ОтветитьFirst of all I know this is a old video those prefab boxes are subwoofers like that are for people who on a low budget? You have to start somewhere?I don't like anything tuned above 38 hertz 45 and higher destroys subwoofers it's only for spl shows it's two peaky it doesn't have enough time to keep the coils cool 36 to 32 hertz is for daily drivers 😉
ОтветитьI lined my prefab box with Jb weld and boy every time the bass hit now it feel like it’s punching deeper
ОтветитьFor beginners you could fill the box. Also smaller box with filling works much better.
ОтветитьSo Longer port = lower tuning frequency ?
ОтветитьI video is all about distortion!!
ОтветитьI 11 cubic feet to big for 2 15’s? I was thinking about making my box 11 cubic feet for 2x 3000-6000w Massive Audio 15’s.
ОтветитьInterestingly enough , the extra wood adds mass and rigidity . All the while lowering the tuning !! Thats a win win +Win man . Thats an awesome budget bass lifehack , Heaveans Yes !! !!
ОтветитьI found a box just like this on amazon and I got a 12 inch audiopipe that you tested and now I sleep on the couch because my wife is pissed
ОтветитьDo you think it would have hit harder with the sub flip upside down. I just purchased a sundown x12 v3 and I’m looking for a 32 hertz box but I can’t find any online.Great video bro.
ОтветитьDo pioneer make good subwoofers???
Ответитьthanks man, just what I needed
ОтветитьHey Parker how's it going? I have a quick question. I'm building a enclosure for 4 12s. Enclosure is 44 x 18.5 x 28.5 and im wondering what size port would I need for a tune of about 32hz. Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьListening to some second hand bass here 🤣
ОтветитьGreat vid
Ответитьjust curious what do you have your cross over set at on your amp?
ОтветитьI had a box built custom and the builder told me if was built to 32-34hz but it feels more like high bass, instead of the lows that should be hitting when I play rebassed music, how can I find out currently what my enclosure it tuned too and how to adjust it? All positive suggestions welcome. I have Two B2 Audio RageXL-15s.
ОтветитьIs there somewhere or some sort of a guide that you can look at to see how long your port should be
ОтветитьThank goodness I don’t have these problems with my sealed enclosure
ОтветитьDid you know there is a theory that Cathedrals were tuned to a healing frequency and used the earth to...
ОтветитьSo when you lower hrz does that mean it won’t hit high anymore?
ОтветитьHow would you feel about me shipping you a box to tune lower for me just like you did here ?
ОтветитьYou still have the destroyer on there ?
ОтветитьSo is it okay to cut down the air space in the box by add two layers of wood on each corner?
ОтветитьLooks and sounds great I got the same set up I was wondering how r u running the sub one or two ohms and how did u adjust the levels to your amp
ОтветитьHow many watts rms is that sub?
ОтветитьAlmost every song you played I have and good selection 👌🏽.
ОтветитьAm a big fan bro I love your videos
