That Shoal Hills area does look scenic and mystic (per google maps) such beautiful countryside

You keep mentioning Stoke on Trent. One of my favorite preachers lives somewhere near there and ministers to Bethel Evangelical Free Church, in Hanely, which is apparently in or near Stoke on Trent.

As someone from brownhills this is nice to watch

I was a nurse at Walsall hospital before you were born. My fellow colleagues, staff etc were the most down to earth and ready to laugh at themselves. I’ll never forget that time. I kept a hamster in the nurses quarters. We’ve never had hamsters here in Australia.

Grew up in Lichfield and spent many an afternoon walking the Chase. Dad always said it was what inspired Tolkein to create Fangorn Forest but don't know if that's true?
