I just got breast reduction surgery a few months ago. It's been absolutly fantastic! Before the surgery, my back would hurt after 15 minutes. It was crippling. I was bedridden most of the time because it hurt to walk. Just taking a shower was a difficult task. Now I walk every day without pain, and I'm getting my stamina up so I can eventually get a job.

I waited until I was 31 to get the surgery because my doctor just shrugged off my complaint of back pain, and I was convinced my insurance wouldn't cover the surgery. I really feel like I missed out a lot on life because I didn't get the surgery sooner.

If you're a woman with these issues, I implore you to fight for your health. I had to really stand up for myself to get my doctor to let me have this life changing surgery.

And to you people saying that she shouldn't have had the surgery, shame on you. This is about being able to live your life to the fullest. Not beauty standards.
