MICRO RC WARBIRD ! Curtiss P-40 Warhawk | Flight Test | EASY TO FLY & ALMOST INDESTRUCTIBLE

I have the Spifire and it was very unpredictable until i added a small amount of weight to the nose area [ a piece of resin cred solder wire 1mm thick secured between the front exhaust manifolds] plane was immediately better and the other issue i had was it tip stalled so easily on the first setting so mid flight i flicked the switch to the middle and its a much better plane all round. Odd i have had 4 of these planes and they flew in beginner mode right out of the box. Maybe yours was made on a friday.

I received this plane a couple of days ago, it is very resilient indeed. The landing gear/where the landing gear mount not so much because on a hard landing i ripped landing gear and mount right out, then on another landing I lost the little black piece that holds the wheel on the other landing gear I didn't rip out the first time (i think I can soldier a brass wheel retainer for a slot car on there and it wont ever come off). Did you guys setup the gyro out of the box? That could be why it was flying wonky if your in beginner or intermediate mode. My plane wanted to climb like crazy in expert mode, so I shoved a penny under the motor and used the trim to get it manageable.

I converted the radio to mode 1 for a local flyer.

NEW PILOTS.....Launch the war series in beginner mode... you will have more successful launches.

try putting in some noseweight.3 to 5 gr. it worked miracles on mine ;)

Hehehe....much fun watching you guys fly that Micro P40 ;-) I thought I saw a couple of people dive to the ground and cover their heads. They must have thought I was on the controls. Great fun and that's what this Hobby is all about. See you in the Air!

It would be nice to increase the size
by a few cm like the XK-430 and
re-release it as a brushless system specification.

Obviously no one read the manual and obviously neither of you are Intermediate or Expert flyers... LOL
First light Logic dictates to take off in Beginner mode... then switch to more aggressive modes in the air.

man, I wanted this plane so much, but I opted for the spitfire, it was much cheaper.. p40 was worth 130 USD while the spitfire was worth 85 USD
