I remember watching this and my first thought being "They really need to change the overtime rules so both offences get a chance with the ball" and this very game is ultimately what punched that rule change through. Will forever imagine if the Bills would have been able to score themselves and keep the OT going, but at least we have this change for the future. Honestly I think they should take it the extra step, keep going in pairs of two possessions until one team out-scores the other, but I guess the possibility for 40 more minutes of OT or something wild like that is just too much to risk.

Born in KC, raised as a Cheif’s fan (Mother was born a true Minnesotan Viking fan, Dad born in Nebraska, moved to Colorado and is a Bronco fan) they had me and I remember rooting for the Cheifs together until we moved to Minnesota. This game had more action in the last 2 minutes than most entire games. An instant classic.

Rushing 3 and dropping an extra linebacker back into coverage would have probably been all they needed to do to win this game. This game was on Frazier and McDermott.
