We just wasn't clinical enough.. about 4 times we past through the lines in the first half and took a shot from outside the area that went row z. To passive, not moving the ball quick enough.. I don't know about anyone else but my blood boils when we walk up the field with the ball tip tapping it with no urgency, it's really hard to watch when we play that way. I know they sat back but we were barley jogging with the ball trying to find an opening in the first half.

Get jots back down the middle and move Diaz back to the left, he’s much more of a threat out there than gakpo and gives us a much better balance - shoehorning Diaz down the middle is unfair especially with jota fit

The other thing is that i think Harvey would have transformed our energy and mindset nearly as much as Jota did today. Harvey is so good at linking play and finding his way into those dangerous little channels and getting off give and go passes and making runs and drawing defenders out of the play. We didn't show up for the 1st hour of this game but FSG has shown up for more than a year.

This is the reason why title is not won in December. The attack is not clicking as smooth as what we have seen in the early part of the season and defence is not as tight as before. This performance is more of a more balanced look of what should be happening when Slot came in this summer.

Slot will keep any new signings on the bench. He not Jurgen signed Chiesa yet he refuses to use him. To keep Salah fresh it is wise to start Chiesa at times. I wonder if Nunez would have made a difference!!😋

Why Liverpool starts slowly? I think it's because of hunger or lack of hunger. If Liverpool is ambitious enough or hungry enough, those players will repeat what Liverpool did in 2019-2020 season. That team crushed the rest of premier league from the very first game of the season and went on winning at least 16 games.
