This appears different from the algorithm given on ElectoWiki for what is called Proportional Approval there. Does that appearance match the reality?
ОтветитьThis appears to be the same as applying the tallying method of Reweighted Range Voting to Approval ballots.

Spreadsheet arithmetic can be used to pinpoint the unelected candidate having the max weighted support at any stage. That would reduce the chance of human error in progressing through the stages of the tally.

How do the qualities of normal Approval Voting translate to (Sequential or non-Sequential) Proportional Approval Voting? - Will it, say, approximate the result Schulze STV would give you, or something like that? - Just like Approval Voting tends to give you Condorcet Winners?
