What’s your favorite productivity tip?
ОтветитьHave you tried sorted 3?
ОтветитьThis is a great app for individuals, but not for project management with teams. Honestly, Apple Reminders can accomplish everything in Things 3. It is integrated with the whole ecosystem and does not cost $39.
ОтветитьHow did you get tv and movies etc under research and tracking, did u make those headers
ОтветитьThanks so much for this video! It was so helpful!
ОтветитьGhost of Tsunami. Never heard of that game.
Ответить60€ por esta app me parece abusivo la verdad, por muy bien que funcione. Ademas todas las personas que quieran colaborar también la tiene que tener...
ОтветитьHow do you add separator lines between areas/projects?! (I just realized that the Mac app doesn't have them but the iPhone app does.
ОтветитьThanks Christopher, really enjoyed your video and learnt a couple new points (things, no pun intended). What struck me most, your fluidity of sharing, not a typical "buy my course stacked video with bits to rope you in)
ОтветитьHey Christopher, first of all: let me express my gratitutde to you: I am learning a lot from your video. I used the iPad as a "toy" (mostly to consume media) but since I bought the Air with M1 chip I am using it more and more to manage my stuff.. now.. I am develpoing this "things 3" taste but also this "fantastical 3 taste"... but there is ONE BIG ISSUE that is preventing me to move forward: they don't talk to eachother.. I saw that ToDoist can be integrated with Fantastical, not so much THings.. since you use both, may I ask how do you use them? Please note that to me the calendar app (any one) is needed to set my activities (any one of them) in a time frame and with a time allowance while the todo list is a detailed view of the tasks that compoeses any given activity (in some case an activity and a task can be the same but it is rarely the case). thanks a lot, keep up the amazing work you are doing
ОтветитьI was watching iOS Today and your description of Things 3 got my attention. I bought it after watching this and getting an idea of how it would help me.
ОтветитьHow did you create those dividing lines? Assume they are just areas with a line in them, but how did you get a line like that?
ОтветитьHow did you get Areas in Today view? The ability is greyed out for me when I try.
ОтветитьHow do i set up the new task shortcut?
ОтветитьGreat vid but paper like wares your pencil and itself
ОтветитьI just subscribed. Thank you so much I just got things3 and haven’t been able to figure out how to make headings
ОтветитьGreat job on the video - thanks
ОтветитьHey Chris! Thank you for the video. I am curious to know - Are you still using Things 3 in 2022?
ОтветитьWhere do you have your recurring tasks, in the personal area? Tasks that repeat every month or year, etc....
ОтветитьI’m a Things user, love it. But what do you think of Sorted. It allows you add calendar events as tasks into the timeline. Seems like a neat feature for headless chickens like me :)
ОтветитьI don't quite see it way above the free Notes app on Mac and iPhone. I use it as my only note and productivity app.
ОтветитьI'm constantly torn between Things 3 and Todoist. Things looks way better and feels like it was designed by Apple. But Todoist has so many good features, specifically natural language input in the main input fields and the ability to add attachments. From they are the most compelling reasons to use Todoist.
ОтветитьI’m not sure if you sent through this but are you able to make sub areas where you can put projects/tasks in that sub area? For example I have a school area and I want to put a math “sub-area” then I could put projects or upcoming assignments in?
ОтветитьBeautifu lreview of Things 3 :) Hope you can do a comparison or review of Taskade in the future, and we just released our iPad update !
ОтветитьHave you tried Sorted?
ОтветитьThank you. This was a very helpful video. I employed most of the tips as you went along in the video. I'll definitely be keeping most of these tips.
ОтветитьQUESTION: Have parallel projects going on with a team of people who report up to me. If I download Things 3 can I assign tasks to people with due dates ?
ОтветитьThank you so much I am so happy to have seen this! I have been going back and forth between getting things 3 on my mac, I love using it for my phone and apple watch so far and wasn't sure if it was worth it to buy the $69 Mac OS version. I have been trying to use notion but like you I like the idea of it being able to be completed and then removed books, movies, games, shows, restaurants or travel locations. I was trying to use notion just for this but I found I don't go into notion often enough to use it as a task manager since I can't use it on my watch as quickly and it doesn't sync very well with my calendar app.
ОтветитьThe new task shortcut doesn’t seem to work when searching “new task” in spotlight. When you enter the task, it shows up on the blurred out spotlight search bar (under the shortcut window).
ОтветитьI’m new here but I love your channel!
ОтветитьIs the app able to see my content?
In the privacy policy, they say they collect a record of communication.
Could you explain that to me.
appreciate your help
Greetings!
Can we add images in our lists that are visible and not just the link?
ОтветитьHow are you using tags, I can see tags in the video but would be interested to know how you use those?
ОтветитьExcept managing your fitness. Amiright?
Ответитьthis video is the snack my OCD was looking for today lol
ОтветитьGet a piece of paper, write down what you need to do, then put it in order of priority, and do it. Spend that $10 on some good food
ОтветитьI keep the books / movies / etc in Notion so I can track other metadata, like genre, number of pages, why I want to watch/read this, etc - so if I want to watch something, I can pick, short comedy, or science fiction long book, etc - I find it much better than polluting my task manager, but everyone is different.
ОтветитьThis app is waste of money ..for me….b
ОтветитьThis seems like the reminders app but with a much better UI.
ОтветитьVery useful! Thanks!
ОтветитьHey! Just downloaded the Things shortcut to add a new list of things quickly & love it! One question: do you know if there is a way to have that shortcut perform the same but then ask what Area to add them to?
ОтветитьAwesome video 👍🏽
ОтветитьI just saw “update money tracker” on a list. Would love to know which one you use!
ОтветитьLiked and subscribed, thanks for this great video
Ответитьwhat do you think about Minimalist vs Things 3? Also, if I buy Things 3 do you think Things 4 (when its released) will be an additional purchase to upgrade? kinda broke rn.
ОтветитьCan you use things 3 shared with others and across other devices?
ОтветитьComment 2 - I’ve used your ‘New Task’ shortcut and got that on my home screen. Superb stuff Chris! Thanks for all this 🙂👍🏻
ОтветитьHaving tried Things 3 before and refunding, this time is different…….. after watching a few of your video’s here, I decided to give it another go. On my iPad Pro and with iPadOS 15, it’s a different app for me now. Alongside Fantastical this could be a bit of a change for my routine. Thanks for all the video’s and the shortcuts I need to get used to. 🙏🏻😃👍🏻
