In this webinar we have discussed about the role of lead auditor as per ISO 19011.
A lead auditor is the one who is responsible for leading the audit team in an organization. He or she prepares the audit plan, delivers meetings and submits audit report at the end of quarter or year. Conducting audits is the main responsibility of a lead auditor and that needs to be done on a daily basis.
An ISO Lead Auditor is a professional responsible for auditing an organization's management system by applying widely accepted auditing standards, procedures, principles, and techniques.
Not all auditors are extroverted, but you do need to be comfortable asking questions and getting some pushback. Detailed oriented: This helps with reviewing granular levels within a process. Approachable: Auditors should not be intimidating, they need to make people feel comfortable.
