ОтветитьWho is better blue oval or bowtie? One word....Cammer!
ОтветитьKasse should have a wizards robe.
ОтветитьI John this is Micheal Taylor from New Zealand here I what to get more power out of a 3.9liter v8 it in a land rover deusvrey and I what a lot more power I am thinking of putting a 632 chevy big block v8 but I what to go up high than a 632 I am think of 832 v8 but no one will make one
ОтветитьLoved the quote “barely edged out” the 632. The 632 has 30 more cubic inches.
ОтветитьFord all day long chevy all garbage
ОтветитьYooo all my trinis proud 🇹🇹
Ответить1000 hp is really weak numbers for a 632 chevy power nation built
Let Steve morris a real engine builder build/tune that 632 and see what happens.i grunted Morris can make more than 1.5 hp per cubic inch. Power Nation should be banned from building chevies.
Does it have a gliptol coating?
ОтветитьYou know Pat wanted to put a little timing into it.
ОтветитьJust imagine this Big Baby @ 632 cu inches with a Fabricated Tunnel Ram & a pair of super special Carburettors from an old guru in the USA . CANT recall his name ?
However he would be my choice 4 Carburettors every day of the Week. Be very close 2.....1300 hp
You can always tell when you're dealing with old school guys.,foot pounds instead of pounds feet. I'm old school.
ОтветитьThat boat motor to Trinidad isnt for racing 😂
ОтветитьI've only looked at their finished products but was always amazed.
Ответить“Gently snugs them down” as he gives the bolts 3 ugga Duggas
ОтветитьWas talking with a guy who built a JK BBF. He was racing at Beaver Springs, PA. The engine was in a Fairmont. The car was running 8's. Finally, he took the hood off. and we saw the engine. They were the older JK heads. The owner/builder said he built the engine himself, it dynode at 870 hp. And it ran as if it had that many horses. He said he wanted the new BBF heads but did not have the money to purchase yet!
ОтветитьI don't miss these shows at all. The constant need for auditory assaults. The lack of worthwhile information.
ОтветитьChevy guys all the same. Think they have something special while they're hoods are up every other weekend like my neighbor. The irony. It's hilarious
ОтветитьWatched this video a few times!! Great video. Whats the static compression ratio ?
ОтветитьI couldnt tell if this was about the A460 aftermarket aluminum racing block, I assume it must be, it is a much beefier and sturdy block than the Ford 460 iron production block, though Jon Kaase says also they have an iron 460 production shop block they beat on all the time and it makes around 900 hp itself. One thing Chevy guys never want to hear is how the iron production 454 is very limited in increasing stroke cubic inch displacement. Fords iron production block can go up to 557 cubic inches, the Chevy iron production block is nowhere close to this and requires a lot of machine shop work. I often wonder if Fords intent was to increase cubic inches to compete with the Cadillac 500, but then the fuel crisis came along, and then EPA restrictions.
ОтветитьYup😊
ОтветитьWho said the 385 series big block Fords were dead? I think they are the best American big blocks. Period.
ОтветитьGood video.
ОтветитьDon’t think you could build either one at a home garage 😅😊
ОтветитьWhy is Joh nnot concentrating on an engine to beat the Chibbies in Pro Stock????
Ответить632 ci is 10.32 L
🤯
I own and drive both Chevy and Ford so I'm impartial 😅
ОтветитьJust think I live less than 4 Miles from his shop with a few Fords in the Yard!!! what to Do????
ОтветитьI wonder how much it would cost for him to make one of those
ОтветитьFord , Chevy, or Mopar they are all domestic " I'm Mopar nut like any body out there, have a few Ford's also , & just acquired a zL1 & a few Camaros an equal opportunity enjoyer, point is enjoy your toys while you can " time flys ❤😂
ОтветитьI can't believe the horsepower you made on that 460 without a blower or Turbo.
ОтветитьAluminum sucks on any engine
ОтветитьThe ford might be more powerful but the bigger chev being less stressed will likely last longer and be less maintenance??well im only guessing
ОтветитьOk im so gonna talk the wife into letting me buy a pair, but what must I give up?
ОтветитьWonder what compression ratio they used on this build
Ответить77 lincoln town car 460 4v out ran alabama trooper
ОтветитьBarelyyyyyy?????...just 100 horses
ОтветитьWhat kind of transmission is needed 4 this?
ОтветитьWish you had a parts list tracking down these parts is pretty difficult
ОтветитьWhat engine block is used here on this motor
ОтветитьYes!!
Go FORD!!!
too cool
ОтветитьI ran n2 a guy here where I live that had a set of those p51s on a 429 cobra jet 70 Torino and I'd just watched this and I seen them and well I had a wonderful conversation with the owner about this guy and his heads and he told me that no one has ever known what the heads were and where they came from wow I feel privileged
ОтветитьJon Kasse is like the Elon Musk of internal combustion engines.
Namely BBF’s…
His stuff is the best, because it proves itself time and time again.
Hell yeah! 👍🏻🤘🏻✊🏻
In case I missed it, what is the cost to build this engine if I did the build myself? What is the application? Racing only? Street rod? Tow truck? Will it make it to 300k mikes towing? Thanks
ОтветитьIt’s easy to build a high hp engine to long last engine hp takes money
ОтветитьI love John Kaase he is the hot rod king. Giving everyone more horsepower than anyone needs.
ОтветитьIm not going to lie, I trust the 4 bolt mains more, but Im a Ford guy, so the 429 cobra is a dream.
ОтветитьIt’s funny how our lovely host who is a brilliant engine builder is terrible at his mathematic skills. This motor made over 110 pound feet of torque more and about 80 hp more as well with 34 in.³ less! And less compression
