The cool thing about making spirits is that you simply add alcohol to water, and add flavouring, and stick it in a fancy bottle, and charge 37 times what the fluid costs to make!

This is a lie, this plant cannot produce 24 million bottles, this is 40,000 thousand barrels a year, but they produce 7,000 barrels a year.

Bourbons use new barrels, while Scotch, Irish, and Japanese Whisky(as well as other types of Whisky/ey) use used barrels, so those barrels they used are sent right to Scotland or Japan for their next job. probably why Ardmore, Bowmore, Jim Beam, Maker's Mark, and Suntory are all technically under one parent company.(other Bourbons also share parent with Scotch in similar fashions as well)
