why does flash keep failing

During the flash my phone always goes out of DFU mode itself and then boots up. Occurring after "Error at line 5342"

if you are a mac user you can also use wine installer for mac and put the exe file on there and it will go to your mac

for some reason my iphone won't jailbreak, it just says that it will connect to dfu automatically and nothing happens.

New problem, got everything back to normal but now 3uTools can't jailbreak it for whatever reason.

(PLEASE HELP) ive been trying to downgrade my iphone 4 to ios 6 since november and when i try this it said that it transferring dfu loader and it said error at line 5342 and i dont know what to do and then it crashes, also when it does crash for the lack of shsh the phone boots up and the screen flickers and glitches but it goes away once i boot it back up after a day or a coulple hours.

This is a really great tutorial, but whenever I try to do this it tells me "You selected firmware version only can reserve baseband to flash" and then it fails to flash. What could be the cause of this?

so i got my 4 to downgrade to it but 3utools just blanks out the jailbreak stuff

Things you will need to restore iphone4 to 4.0.2:
1. itunes
2. ireb
3. redsnow
4. IPSW Geekgrade 4.0.2
5. IPSW Original 4.0.2
6. practice to exactly pwned DFU, NOT 1 second later or sooner
- - -
- install drivers, .Netframework
- install fresh iTunes 10/11 (if not fresh, reinstall Windows)
- download ireb, download redsnow, download IPSWs
- plug in cable, keep the cable all the time
- put iphone to Pwned DFU black screen (NOT soft DFU, NOT recovery mode)
- run ireb, click "iphone4" (important MUST do)
- ireb says "OK", close that
- open iTunes, it says "phone is in recovery mode", click "OK"
- hold SHIFT on keyboard and click "Restore" button
- point to IPSW Geekgrade
- wait, the screen goes "red BG logo", wait 2 minutes
- done, iTunes says "phone has been earsed, restarting"
- wait 10 sec, phone shows "connect iTunes and cable"
- put iphone to Pwned DFU black screen again
- run Redsnow, click Extra, click Select IPSW, point to IPSW Original
- if it says "the following was identified" is firmware good
- if it says "not supported by this version" is firmware bad, find another
- if it is good, click "Recovery fix"
- phone shows "HDD saying downloading jailbreak data"
- wait 1 minutes, phone shows "connect iTunes and cable"
- put iphone to Pwned DFU black screen again
- run Redsnow, click Extra, click Select IPSW, point to IPSW Original
- click "Just boot"
- voila, disconnect cable and use

My phone is definitely on DFU Mode, the program even tells, but for some reason the flashing fails each time. Hoping for a response
