Best Email Marketing Software (2019 Review!)

Great video content! Sorry for butting in, I would love your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Ieyackenpie Unfamiliar Improvement (google it)? It is a good one of a kind guide for launching a profitable advertising business without the headache. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my mate finally got amazing success with it.

I am going to do a simple landing page for my cleaning company. I want potential customers to opt in for discounts in the future. then maybe ill send out a few hundred emails a month in the future. I was thinking aweber they say it deliverability is really good. I know nothing about design. I just clean offices. I am thinking aweber. What do you recommend?

It is an awesome one off guide for creating a passive income within minutes minus the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my friend Sam after many years got excellent results with it.

I do not recommend ConvertKit anymore, even though I was with them for over 1 year. ConvertKit has not delivered 35% of my emails. And I discovered this by mistake when one of my contacts wrote to my gmail and asked why she had not received the emails for an online summit. The company cannot give me a report because there is none. They also do not have it internally. I would have to go through all my list to see who did not receive them. This is not the first campaign or sequence where this happened. I am switching this week to ActiveCampaign. Please do not recommend ConvertKit. Their team never comes up with soluations. They make you feel like an unwanted customer.

What about having client's sub-accounts?

Hi. Great video. I am a Graphic Designer. I have been hired to update a company's marketing materials, including email marketing. They currently use Constant Contact. It works fine for their email purposes, but I find the design area to be quite limiting. I need to find a platform that is easy for non-designers, but gives you controls if you are a designer, as well. Some examples would be controlling the padding around text and editing the mobile version to be different than the desktop version. I may see if these companies have free trials, but I did not know if you have much experience with designing in these platforms. Thanks.

I would add Campaign Monitor to this list. Australian based company that has been around a while, but they have solid automations and easy to use builder.

I've been using Mailchimp for years, and just got fed up today because I can't easily get a question answered about upgrade features. In short, this was helpful, thank you.

Do these platforms send emails without a confirmation email? Also does it bypass the spam filter?

I used convertkit and inside convertkit it says that I am using free email (my personal email) which can impact negatively. I don't understand that. Can you explain to me...im taking my first step as affiliate marketer and I'm lost a little bit

Thanks for the video! I hear Convertkit is great with deliverability. I've struggled with that on Mailchimp but I want to use a system with more design options. Would ActiveCampaign be a great fit for deliverability and email design?

MailChimp has recently had a few changes that I don't like - and honestly I really hate the UI.

May I ask what's the name of the soundtrack you're using at the beginning of this video Justin?

While these are all great options, our company tends to prefer MailChimp thanks to its automation plans as well as simply how easy it is to operate.

I've been using ConvertKIT for a few months with 14,000 subscribers. It looks good and the automations are easy to set up but once I got into the details I found major flaws. For example, the screen-filling chart of subscribers looks cute but doesn't tell you much - such as location, operating system, length of subscription, etc.


1) There's no way to give a name or title to an email broadcast (an email sent to all your list or a segment). The non-edited "title" is just the email subject line. So if you want to send variants of the same email to different segments - perhaps changing the link to purchase - all the broadcasts get the same title. Makes management of broadcasts a nightmare as each has to be opened to find out which variant it is.


2) There's no way generate an automatic list of the countries of subscribers. This is really useful to know which countries to focus on in terms of special emails (such as holidays, seasonal activities etc). It is a global world. You can Search for subscribers country by country and create a handwritten list. There are 190+ countries in the world and not everyone lives in the US.


3) ConvertKit values its customers so much that if you want two-factor authentication you will have to join the new Pro level at an eye-watering $200 a MONTH. The other features of this level are equally underwhelming.


Sweet design, but under the hood there's much missing for the premium pricing.

What about Get Response? They have many positive reviews, beautiful templates, ease of use....

Hi I watched your video and went with ActiveCampaign . Sent out my first campaign only to find that Bigpond has a firewall that blocks ActiveCampaign. As I'm only starting changing is not an issue and their advice is to have Bigpond whitelist the ip addresses. Not sure if that is an option.

Hi Justin, thanks for the video, yet I still feel a bit overwhelmed with all the info about email marketing. I've been procrostinating MailChimp account for 2 years :). So now trying to figure out what company to choose while about 100 people are waiting for my newsletter (which will be in 2 languages). * Say, my goal is to have a list with 1000 emails. That means I need to prepare $1000 to pay for all subs? that is really a lot! Can you make a review with tips for how to start a newsletter if you are completely new to that? (I mean the tech part of it).
