I don't understand the comments on Trump. Trump is first of all an American and, I believe, a patriot. He is pushing NATO to increase its defense expenditure and rightly so. He is pushing Europe to stop purchasing natural gas from Russia. He asked Ukraine to lower the age of conscripts to 18 years old. It is unconceivable that the Biden administration has introduced the new more stringent sanctions without consulting and, I would add, the approval of the Trump's administration.
At the same time, he also made questionable statements on Ukraine. But overall I think it is too early to make a call about the Trump's administration stance with regards to Ukraine.

Europe will just have to buy weapons from America, Trump will always do a deal on trade, especially with his donors pushing him to take the orders. Europe really needs to wake up, rearm, and rebuild its arms industry.
