Making Onboard Audio such an issue is a bit much.. On most cameras you would pickup sounds from hands adjustion positioning, aperture etc... The ibis sound is pretty low,,, I mostly use onoard audio in a very loud environment for live Ambiance... Tweaked, Equed,and mix it with the direct sound, it works.. For clean audio I plug a mic wired or wireless in the camera, and/or record separately audio on my D70 Tascam.. ... Onboard usually is omni so it pickup sounds from everywhere.. So it is not an issue at all not using it as main audio... Wanna add some liveness to a too dry lav, or a dry mix, tweak eq and mix it onboard audio (as long as it goy captured at the right level below distortion!).. The issue the way you presented the isbs sound! It made you look "beginerish" and pushed you to publish this video to excuse yourself! A bit more maturity next time maybe before posting things with big click and bait titles.... Some people would be giving a bad score to a product because the store they ordered it from shipped the the wrong color... Objectivity...

On board audio is my plan B. Redundancy is my friend. I rely on external video but if something goes wrong, I've got a backup. Gerry in Calgary.

g85 12 60 lens for vlogging, 60mm olympus lens for macroshots, 17 mm olympus sometimes too for vlogging

I'm pretty sure the humming sound is from the body itself. I have it with my 12-35 f2.8

I don't understand why do you try to explain and find excuses??? If you made a video about your thoughts and opinion about something , your opinion will be the same even if some of the viewers will freak out . Believe me, you can't make everyone happy. If you are honest and you are happy with your decision that's it . If somebody doesn't like it .....well it's his own problem . Sorry man but this looks like a lick .... s because you want to clam down those ones they didn't agree with you . If that's your decision and opinion , stand up for it .
