ОтветитьHello I'm a Computer Science student and im really getting into networks. I'd like to ask about a guide, book or site where I could learn a base of these apache2 concepts. Right now I have a Jellyfin server on a Rpi and would like to know more of this stuff. Thanks
ОтветитьI have set up a firewall using ipfire. I have obtained a public IP from my ISP. I have setup a red zone with the public IP, a green zone, and a orange zone(DMZ). I have a webserver on my orange zone which is using a local IP. I am having trouble figuring out how to link my domain to the public IP of the red zone then route it to my local IP for the webserver.

Kindly provide me with the link to set up the port forwarding. I search in your videos, but can't find the link.
Millions of thanks in advance!
i was looking how to do this my self, and even contacted godaddy support asking on how to do the final step of this of pointing my ip address to my domain name. after almost an hour of waiting on the "tech" to reply back with an answer i found it in this 14 minute video. thank you!
ОтветитьIn the video, the way to point the domain is using A Record.
I have a nameserver that points to my web server. My web server uses xampp (without any configuration, just install and finish). I've tried to access the nameservers via the browser and it worked. How do I point my domain to my web server using these nameserver? i'am not possible to use A Record because my ip public is dynamic, but i have that nameserver which can point automaticaly to my web server address.
Please help me,
Thanks
how did you setup your domain?, for me it automatically changes the url to the IP adress of my server

ОтветитьSo... you've bought a domain at GoDaddy? it's not free, right? is it possible to set up a name domain to be publicly accessible without buying one?
ОтветитьIf you point it using godaddy, does godaddy charge you?
Ответитьusing the promise of tech support by going to your twitch/mixer and not allowing it in your disc is scummy. you suck and you're a noob
ОтветитьHey Man, Thank you for such a informative tutorial, I am still having problem with this, I tried to configure "hosts" file and when I am trying to access website using NAME within the server- it is working properly, but if I try to access from another device which is connected to same wifi connection (local area network)- I am not able to access, however when I try to access using local IP - it is working fine. Any suggestions on that ??
ОтветитьGreat video! Simply straight forward to the subject. Thank you!
