Account Linking Tutorial - "Your Account Does Not Match the Account Linked to this Bethesda Account"

WHY DONT I HAVE THE XBOX OPTION ON LINK AN ACCOUNT

Is there a way to see what account is linked through Skyrim? They said a different unverified account is already linked and I need to prove I own this account, when I stopped using the account ages ago and no longer remember it/ don't remember linking it to begin with
