I also suggest trying out a 332 8th note rhythm (so the downbeat in a sense would it on one, the and of 2, and 4). gives it a dominating presence, I've used it in marches and it works well.

Drum patterns is still something i so often get lost , its always nice to remember the basics because the basics are the fundamentals of a track , its easy to be over creative and get lost from the original idea at least for a beginner like me .
Sometimes less is more , you have great content man .
Feel free to listen my stuff and do a video on common mistakes I'm sure u will find so many and that's okay i want to learn and improve . We all need a lil help sometimes glad people like u are willing to share knowledge.
