Not familiar with this game.. seen people / clips of it if course.. but i've only watched halo speedruns & dark souls speedruns since thats what i mostly played. Maybe some parts of some other games but this is just simply amazing. I love speedrun videos. That skip he just did with the dragon i feel like made him skip so much. The way these people figured this out especially in this game is astonishing. Simply amazing. Thanks 4 making this video. Was good to see.

Obviously seeing these runs is impressive. But personally I like more when the game is actually played as intended and not just broken to a set of bugs and glitches.

Also about Asmon commenting on making games: For sure, the main goal is to make a good game. Using already existing assets is a great way to cut corners especially if you are developing alone. But at the same time I hate to see games like this succeed while stealing tons of assets, then removing those and not adding anything to the game to compensate. It just sets a terrible example especially when these kind of games get popular because big streamers are playing and giving attention to them.

Why does there always have to be some kind of cheating in these “speed runs”? Bugs, exploits, slow mo. Negate the entire fucking thing if you ask me.

Your jump height is dictated by your framerate. Higher fps = bigger jump.
