Sorry i tried three of these restaurants, komur, hectors and pipis, and they are all okay, nothing special really! idk if your reactions were just overacting, sorry, i tried, the mushroom toasties at hectors, huhu, nothing special, the sauce (taste like mustard was so over powering) , fish and chips at pipis was meh, too salty and the chicken at komur wasnt seasoned well, but there lamb was good, so ill give that to them, idk. Maybe theres just alot of options and cuisine in melbourne but everything was alright, nothing will be like WOW

His “wow” is top 3 I put it up there with Owen Wilson’s “wow”

I'm somewhat curious what you make of the produce quality in the Australia vs US..? Which is superior..?
I keep hearing from Americans who have moved to Australia and notice that US produce is just plain substandard (and may even be toxic and contain health-damaging additives) next to its Aus equivalent.

Turkish food outside Turkey is dog shite. In England, there's a Turkish kebab shop in every corner and the kebabs are bloody expensive and not fresh. The Turkish restaurants are the same.

As a Melbournian, I really enjoyed this. I'm constantly amazed by how good the food is here. In my area (Brunswick) I have dozens of amazing restaurants, pubs and cheap eats within walking distance. It's honestly crazy how diverse the food culture is. On my doorstep I have Turkish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Greek, Lebanese, Etheopian, Nepalise, Indian, Thai, Korean, West African, Malaysian, Mexican, Italian, Sri Lankan, South American, Japanese and a fair amount of fish & chips, burgers and kebabs.

I honestly can't keep up with it but it's a nice problem to have. Thanks for visiting this amazing city.
