Wired vs Wireless Gaming Mice - What you NEED to Know in 2022!

Imagine going wired in 2024 🤡

Would a wireless keyboard and mouse at 2.4ghz create interference with each other? Ive always wondered if it still would be suitable for competitive gaming

I have the m4 wireless. Bluetooth connection can glitch out sometimes. But it's fine after updating armoury crate.

bruh im always scared that my theoretical wireless mice might run out of battery during the game. What would i do? + seeing wires doesnt bother me at all. Idk why are people complaining in the comments. Like i just dont give a crap about some wire

maybe I bough the wrong one but... loll I hated the razer deathadder wireless... I think was the first model. I still use the old 2015 deathadder and I have no problems. maybe I would go to another brand next time. I could feel... the delay also god I hate synpse 3...

i looked up this video just because Im confused as to why they even make wired mice still.

WIRED - fast, no battery needed, cheaper, no connection issues, no using up a USB slot
WIRELESS - no wire

for me its the battery life and i smell bull shit when they say 500 hrs of battery life.

I stick to Wired, I only see wireless as a gimmick people are unreasonably obsessed right now

I had a wired logitech mouse that weigthed about 150 grams for 4 year (can't remember the name).
Now i have a logitech G pro superlight that weights about 60grams. I can't go back. I can't feel a difference between wired and wireless in terms of lag or response time at all. But the reduced weight and the non existent drag from the non existent cable makes a huge difference :D

The very last thing you said was "for the love of gaming don't use Bluetooth mouse for gaming" but does that include a wireless dongle too? Like Bluetooth bad, but wireless dongle good?

I'm using a 7 dollars wireless mouse, I don't even know the manufacturer, probably built in a random ally in china. it works perfectly. I don't even worry when it accidentally hit the ground. also, I can use the extra $100 to upgrade the ream or the SSD.

What do you think about the new hyperx pulsefire haste wireless? It's crazy that it just weights 61g, just 2g heavier than its wired honeycomb counterpart. I rarely unplug my current wireless mouse anymore as I don't feel much of a difference with those braided cables anyway. It also has no bluetooth, so I could go with the wired one, but I got a pretty good preorder deal, so just in case :)

more than 2 years now using my g305 which i got for $26. Even modded it to have a sub 60g weight.

Wires does tend to be lighter
The new Razer Viper v2 Pro might change that a bit with a 57g weight

I switched from a wired Model O to a wireless Model O, very surprised that there is basically no difference! Wireless is better for on-the-go and to connect to multiple devices.

Comparing the ASUS M4 wired, and wireless versions is possible the worst choice for this video since they are completely different mice. The wired version is a good mouse with holes, the wireless one is garbage! 4etech, a German reviewer, measured a 20ms(!) higher latency for the wireless version. Unfortunately, that makes your point from the start, that wired and wireless mice have the same responsiveness, invalid . (it's true for modern Logitech, Razer, Glorious mice etc. NOT in this case)
The wired version has optical switches and a Pixart 3335 16k dpi sensor, while the wireless version has mechanical switches and a Pixart 3311 12k dpi sensor. So the components on the wireless version are much cheaper, which is the reason for the small price gap and the bad performance of the wireless version.

I would prefer to have silent keys on my wireless mouse, since I have been using the Logitech M331 followed by the Logitech M590 since 2017, and both of them have silent keys!

Wired Logitech G 502 Hero with all weights is best for me. I don't understand these ultralight or wireless mice. I don’t throw it on the table and I don’t carry it for a walk.
