Ines didn't win the contest, her mother doesn't sing and Tracy's mother's too? That's a bit dissapointed! It has more impact if Ines wins then Corny shouted that his show is integrated instead of Tracy just screaming it. She can't decide, she's a participant not a host! The song is still good but this part could be better 😐

I wish we had amber and her mom in the movie ❤ when it was Nikki and zac efron ❤

I like the movie’s ending specifically Little Inez winning Miss Hairspray. But I also love the campiness of the theater when Penny is glowed up and her mom shows up.

I was crush in this song because i will be able to be Ordinary people in this show. It shows in 1960s america but i can see that moment in 2023. There are a lot of times that i can feel my limitness these day. I really know about my troubles that i have but i believe i can do anything! Thanks for this song and film.

Most of these live performances blow me away with how much talent they showcase.

Take the time to see John Waters' 1988 Hairspray movie, the film that started it all. Ricki Lake played Tracy, the unforgettable Divine played Edna and Jerry Stiller played Tracy's dad.

For everyone saying that arianna grande isn’t fit for the role of penny, This was just her interpretation of penny. Not everyone is going to play the role exactly the same. I think her voice suits this version of hairspray for penny.

Forgettable songs and really poor dancing.

Y’all keep complaining about Arianna’s gogo boots and how they ruined the show. But you are forgetting that Tracy was literally wearing gogo boots in the movie during you can’t stop the beat. And non of y’all complain about that! I think Ariana’s performance was underrated in the show. And yes maybe the boots were out of era but it’s literally a fictional musical. It’s not that serious. Some people need to start thinking about how good everyone was and positive comments. Rather than filling the comments up fussing about boots that were shown in the show for 10 minutes 😊

Wish there was a way to combine the original production with this one, but put Edna's mom back in the background like the original does. Instead of the John "Love me in drag" Travolta version. I love the songs in the newer one, just hate how they made it more about Edna, than Tracy.
