Simple Excel Data Entry Work Form Tutorial

Dear Kevin, the data entry form in Excel allows up to 32 fields/columns or so, may you have a solution for more than 32 fields? I have around 200 fields... Thank you very much!

Also, may you make a video about mirroring data to another excel workbook so that external users can view only while I still edit and the data are updated in both the original file and the mirrored file. Thanks a lot!

I cannot get it to work on a larger sample. I get the headings for the data entry showing up inside the area where the data entry belongs. I tried replicating yours and it works fine. My column headings are not real long but still shows up in the areas where the data should be input or captured. Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?

What if I need a field to be the same in my form for several rows, and I don't want that field to type it over and over...I want to only change it when the data in that field will be changed. Example...I'm entering the inventory count for a number of bin locations...one bin location will have many, many items. I want to enter the bin location once, then just type Items and quantities. Eventually, i will need to enter a new bin location, then continue entering items and quantities for the new location.

Is it possible to create a form for data entry that incorporates a calendar for date selection and a dropdown selection list that will allow other fields to be automatically populated? For example, in the form, select a date from the calendar, then from a dropdown list select a customer name, say "Cookie Monster" and have another field say Customer ID automatically populated with a predefined number.

After you search form and click it microsoft gives you a message saying "microsoft excel cannot determine which row in your list or selection contains column labels" what is the way to solve for this ?
