Is this car something that requires premium gas? The manual says recommended but not required. What different about it given it uses same engine as rav4 Prime that uses regular gas?

I fkin hate "luxury" cars with gimmicky garbage trying to justify the high cost. Will never buy this junk and pay for getting frustrated. Wtf!

Took over a year before I had my NX delivered but it was worth the wait. Was not sure about the electric door latches but it is alright. Everthing else is fantastic

My 1993 SC400 had cornering lights. They work amazingly well.
We have a 2024 NX450h+ on order. Can't wait to get it. Pearl white with Rioja red leather interior.
One thing I don't understand is why Lexus recommends premium gas, although the manual says you can use regular (87) gas. This is the same engine as the RAV4 Prime and it takes regular. Is this just a Lexus thing, trying to make its customers feel "premium" by filling with premium?

I like your videos, but the pauses between different segments are long, and when I am driving, I have to check whether you stopped or I lost my connection!
Spend a bit more time on editing or say something like "next" please.

Do you recommend the 450 plugin over the 350h?
And the 450 plugin f sport is nearly the price of entry level new rx. What do you recommend?

I just bought a new 2023 NX 350 F Sport, because the inventory is so low I bought the first one that I can get my hand on and didn’t realize it it didn’t have any sensors around the car, including the kick open sensor for the back door. My question is can I install those sensors to my NX after the fact?

Run flats are great, they don't wear prematurely, are not heavy and are more practical than non run flats

Great review BUT you didn't drive it ! lt would have been nice to see some of the bells n whistles in action. As a Car Nut myself, 20-year mechanic it would be interesting to see and hear some of its features while you're actually driving and showing use of general features, not too much for safety sake, just one or two minutes giving viewers an idea of how it drives and sounds.

Obviously we won't get first person real-world experience unless l actually put my seat on the seat and twist it through a turn or two

Following the steps of German car industry: complicated and overengineered. So saddening video.

I think the annoying steering wheel buttons with heads up display are only on top level trim. I dislike that too so I will not choose the top trim if wanna buy one. The doors mechanism maybe is a deal breaker for me.

Why electronic door handles? Because mechanical latches can't prevent you from opening the door against oncoming traffic or a cyclist.

I agree the steering wheel controls are annoying.

OH! The Proximity Warning Speaker.... My 2022 Hylander Hybrid makes that same sound. Once I was backing out of a parking space and this older woman was loading her groceries and she gave me the thumbs up and waved. I rolled down the window and she said "Having a hybrid makes the angels sing and your car is singing! God Bless You!" It was sweet, but yes, it is an annoying noise.

Hi @TheCarCareNut, I have a 2022 RAV4 XLE with 2 sets of identical the OEM 18in alloys for both summer and winter seasons, will these fit my 2023 NX350h F-Sport S?!? Supposedly there may be an issue with the lug nuts being different.

I understand the valve carbon build up with Direct Injection engines, but I don't understand how Port Injection helps DI engines prevent carbon build up. Can you provide some information on this?

Im just throwing this out there. But I rekon the 3 hood clips are like that so as to keep the front line of the hood rigid and flush so to make a good seal with the bumper seal. This would ensure that across the full width of the vehicle the seam seats nice and flush as designed which I believe is such as to help decrease wind resistance. Otherwise no clue haha

I have the 350h and so far just loving it! It did take a bit but got used to HVAC settings. I'm a month and have learned how to set up shortcuts and other easier ways to automate stuff. The Lexus "Siri" is very accurate so don't really need the touch screen as much as you might think. It should be noted that the steering wheel controls are for the top level ONLY in Canada. Any other level there is no HUD or programmable buttons on steering wheel.

In a plug in hybrid, should you run the gas engine periodically to keep things running smooth and burn the gas so you don't have 1 year old gas

For my NX300H 2022, I paid $120 for gas for almost 900KM both highway and city driving. In my 2020 Rav4 XSE hybrid, I paid $90 for about 790KM. Both cars are amazing, and premium gas does make a difference for the engine.

I still have my 2013 Prius C, and it is still running great👍

Very good review of the vehicle and loved the way of total explanation and tempted to buy the vehicle.....

My final review, the front looks like it got hit by a frying pan and they really dropped the ball on the handle. I can see myself trying to explain everything I pick up a date on how to open the door
