i got last epoch a week ago , super happy with it especially for someone who never played any other arpg , everything has an explanation and every makes sense and there arent any bullshit mechanics that make small but important things tedious to do , seems to me like a "players" game which for one i appreciate a lot

You contradict yourself too much. It's really to take any of your points as validity anymore.

Sadly POE's inability to respec whenever you want has been my major gripe about hating the game, outside of their stupidly large skill/passive tree. It's beyond me why they will continue to carry the inability to respec easily whenever you want into POE 2 as well, which is imo a major L for the game out of all the W's they have going for them.

Mastery is the only permanent choice. Takes 30 minutes to get there in campaign, making it able to swap would ruin the game.

great potential but this game needs bosses. the minmax crafting is really fun but there's no reason to do it without endgame content

This game will be an absolut banger. It's less casual than Daiblo 4 but also less hardcore than POE. It's the perfect balance. And there is no P2W !
I'm playing since 2019, have 400h on it and never get bored by this game. Absolut banger guys, trust me

I play a totem summoner and a hammerdin. The Hammerdin is like D2's hammerdin, but on roids. It is so fun to play!

I tried it didnt love it didnt hate it its mediocre but one thing is sure to me its not going to stay big. Fast rise and fast Drop 1 month max until next poe season

"I like my talent tree as a warrior" Please do not listen to this Blizzard, just ignore that line. Our talent tree needs a rework, the Arms idea as a whole needs help, the warrior tree is just not good.

The developers of LE are smart. D4 has a player base of millions that want high quality content from their game, but aren't getting it. PoE has a player base of a 100k, but the game isn't beginner friendly and has the worst knowledge gap out of any game Ive ever player. LE is looking to bridge that gap by offering high quality content that is easy to digest and learn from. PoE2 is going to be even more complicated from a gameplay perspective, so thats where LE is will cater to those that want a more streamlined ARPG experience.

It sure would be nice if they would release this on ps or xbox. So many of these awesome games only come out on PC I mean what the fuck not everybody owns a gaming PC

The reason i felt POE pushed me away, was i felt i had to invest way too much time and effort for a result i dont even know ill enjoy, i understand that all of the options are dope for veteran players, but as a noob not having solid classes like d4 means i have no idea what my end game will feel like even if i watch videos on builds, and then i have the feeling that all this work might be for nothing in the back of my head the whole time because i might not even like the build i chose, because it might not fulfill the class fantasy i thought it would?

I sorely miss the days of comparing games based on quality of mechanics rather than scummy-ness of the monetization and whether you can afford to keep playing, damn. This FINALLY feels like one of those games where the devs aren't playing the game FOR you and telling you "This one is the best" and adding "And btw is costs 4.99 to get as long as you complete our progression system that will give you 100 useless crap first". It sounds like they're ACTUALLY crafting a playground that they don't even fully understand for all of us to go in and start playing with and analyzing the way Old Diablo and other ARPG games or even MMORPGs USED to be like.

The deal with not wanting to watch a video to play is why I fell off playing FFXIV. Dungeons where you have to know everything ahead of time and you can't 'intuit' your way through content or else everyone will be mad at you for bogging the group down isn't even "playing" a video game by my estimation. It's executing a pre-made program, which is what Jobs are. If you can't fail, it's not a game.

the crafting seems so much better than poe, i dont even mess with crafting in poe i either find stuff or buy stuff, NEVER craft rofl. epoch seems like i can craft!
