I am a carpenter and joiner and have NEVER liked OSB but this looks good! Well done!
Cool idea! You should look into a DA sander. A lot more forgiving
Looks like shit
Which epoxy sealant did you use? It came out gorgeous.
How much do you pay over there for epoxy resin ? I love the results you can get with that, but over here (Belgium) the ones I see are very expensive.
Andrew, you are the man! Looks great, it was like watching myself work because everything you did I would have done as well (including the initial attempts then turning it over) It's interesting using uncommon materials for projects!
Are those Vasagle brand filing cabinets from Amazon?
I have one that looks the exact same.
Staining this deep Red for a gamer look would be cool.
What grit did you use when you sanded by hand?
Not bad, better if you find a not hand way to smooth, before epoxy you should had painted with a color for wood. The result could become cooler. Thanks for this good video.
Outstanding, as a former delivery loader at Lowe's I can't wait to watch this lol.
Great job bro, but on the other hand you got all chemicals from paint to your lungs via dust
Ответитьthis black mold osb is ugly
You should have never used the belt sander. The orbital would have been better
I am really asking my self, how often did you turn on and off the table saw until "watch subscribe" appeared perfectly
Just use a laminate
Sorry bro, nice workmanship but it's ugly.
I've painted OSB. And stained it. Staining is interesting as different parts of the OSB take stain differently. Clear coats are a good finish. Light sanding with an orbital sander between coats are recommended. There are all kinds of interesting effects you can get. All in all, it is different and an acquired taste.
What epoxy products did you use?
ОтветитьNo
Don’t mind ergonomics. Wear a mask. Cancer is a silentkiller.

That looks amazing!
So why only gluie half the sheet ?
Thanks for including mistakes, we all make them…and we all learn from them. I’m inherently cheap (wish my wife was), so always looking for a cool project that’s cheap (get a kick out of bragging on how nice but cheap my furniture is) but also beautiful. Great job looks awesome.
Actually looks cool
Next time before painting or priming use wood hardener.
This is fucking sick..ngl
Good job, the final product looks great. But gluing a "consumable" into the desk... It's kinda weird.
Hi have a got a link for the epoxy you bought .. many thanks
My grandparents walls in their house was all like this. The walls also had a thick film on them from them always smoking inside. I don't know exactly when the house was built but my memories of it come from the 1970's.
Crazy. I have a heavy duty old school hydraulic desk that’s 3’x6’ shaped like an L with a curve on the inside corner where the chair goes. I have a 1” thick piece of 4’x8’ OSB board trying to see what people have done with osb as far as finishing and what not and here’s a video of someone it doing exactly what I need to do.
No. Not really…
This is rad!
SORRY, STILL LOOKS LIKE WHAT IT IS, CRAP.
Ответитьroofing torch would have been much easier than paint
I grew up with a woodworker father and got into it myself about 15 years ago. For some reason, I'm a sucker for sheet-good furniture. I'm particularly fond of end grain plywood stuff. OSB has always been fascinating to me with all of the texture. Good to see I'm not the only weirdo in the bunch. The desk looks amazing.
