do you know if dental hygiene and therapy graduates can apply to graduate dentistry to become a dentist. I was thinking of doing a graduate entry into dentistry by doing something like biomedical science, but I feel dental hygiene and therapy would be so much better if I can get into graduate dentistry after.

In my Country Nigeria a dental therapist is not allowed to do all you mentioned here, but limited to teeth scaling and polishing out of envy and beef from the dental surgeons...

The problem with the progress of dentistry are general dentists. We need less general dentists and more specialists and mid level providers. General dentists think they know a lot and that is dangerous I feel strongly we need midlevel care.

Can one study BDS after studying getting a dental therapy diploma?
