Some claim a "red tailed hawk" is just the American name for a buzzard. I listened to both and while similar, the hawk's call is more piercing.

There are 3 buzzards that fly’s above my house everyday i love them but i have chihuahuas that i love too and a german shepperd who dont love unexpected visits 😬

Thanks for the video, I've finally identified the birds I've seen and heard in Firhouse, South Dublin., unfortunately the trees and wild area where they are is destined to become football fields, dressing rooms,parking etc.
One of the few remaining natural fields in an urban jungle.

I have two living in the field in front of us in County Armagh

We have been seeing buzzards more and more in South East Essex over the past 2 years and the population is growing, we've never seen them here before so it's awesome to have them 😍

Used to see loads of them when I lived in Fort William, I now see them in the woods behind Easterhouse.

We've seen five circling over our house this past few weeks, here in East Cork in the south of Ireland.

See buzzards every where near where I live. Truly superb birds, especially when they glide majestically on the air thermals

Looks sonewhat similar to the Turkey Vulture here in the USA. Love to watch them swirling high up above.

I would call this a hawk. We call turkey vultures “buzzards” where I live in Illinois. We don’t have that specific bird in the states, it just resembles and sounds like what we just call hawks. I was soooo confused. 😂

I saw a pair of buzzards today soaring above farmland , was so cool to watch ! ..I live in county Durham rural are, in North East UK and I'm seeing more of them lately . I have great appreciation for birds of prey , so nice to see them in abundance and knowing they are thriving .. great video . Thankyoo 👏🏻

We have them in Torquay. Love seeing the seagulls and crows 'persuading' them to move off away from their nesting area. It's like seeing spitfires attacking a Dornier bomber
