This game was my first Battlefield ( used to be a COD guy)

Not a single FPS has been able to replicate the experience. The attention to detail.
The enjoyment.
No over complicated systems. Just plain and simple.

If they really wanted to, Dice could’ve included other conflicts Post-WW1, such as the Irish War of Independence, Spanish Civil War, and other various wars that took place.

Just package the game play of bf1 to modern era and will crush war zone

nothing beats being a medic and blindly launching frags into a chokepoint and getting like 5 kills. being a support class and having some of the better guns is just.... glorious

Wish they would just Keep this game engine and just change the maps. I keep buying new fps and always disappointed. i delete them all and keep gong back to BF1

This & before that BF3. My only 2 counted BF experiences, the rest...no. Yes I know BF4 was great but I didn't care at all about it past the campaign whereas BF3&1 kept me coming back like an addict 💙

I know it's not you drew it was the people you're talking about but how can you get frustrated over customization in a World War I game that wasn't even a thing yet

This game is a masterpiece. I will be really surprised if DICE can ever capture the magic of it again in BF. And long live one of my fav BF modes: War Pigeons =)

TLDR cause 2042 sucks, BF5 is 90% hackers and BF1 is the only safe haven for a "Decent" game in the last 10 years from EA

Bad company 2 and bf1 are the best battle fields..You get that up close a personal feel

I got BF1 when it launched, but never got into it for some reason. I never even experienced the DLCs and was so sad thinking I'll never get to play them. Well I recently convinced a friend to get it on PS4 and how pleasantly surprised we are! The game is by far the best BF of recent years and has a nonstop only in BF moments. I am delighted to say my dream has come true and we consistently find full lobbies in all game modes, and more shockingly, are able to find full servers running the DLC maps. I'm so happy to be able to play this glorious game again.

This is incredibly accurate.

Although 2 months late, just to let you know Dice done something really sly and this has been confirmed, tested and verified. They have increased the damage with a multiplier of 2 for anyone below the rank of 50. So when you get instantly killed by a lowbie its not because they are good but because all their weapons, nades and gadgets hit your for x2 the damage. So they can feel like Gods and wont leave the game when they get ruined by older players. Again you can check around for this but its been proven.

The sound design and music for Battlefield 1 was absolutely EPIC

I bought it on steam but when I finished installing I had to setup and install ea but when it finished it said error installing

I think we all should keep bf1 alive. Still my favorite of all time. Games is nuts

cant decide between BF 5 and BF 1, played both kinda remeber BF 1 has slower paced action (which is better) compared to BF 5 arcadey COD feel

I'm definitely in the minority here, but I've played battlefield since the release of 1942 in 2002, and BF1 is by far the absolute worst battlefield game in the series in my opinion. I hate the gunplay, hate the maps. The only thing that I thought was good about it was the graphics and everything else feels clunky and weird for a battlefield game. I just don't get why people love it so much, and I don't think I ever will lol. Tried to come back and play it about a month ago and it only solidified my original opinion of the game.
