finally i know what test cricket is. I'velived in the T20s and ODIs until now, time to dive deeper in the game with test matches.

I know nearly all these rules except RUNS needed on the follow on. I only came here to see why Test cricket is still relevant, but now I realize that you actually have to be very good team to be able to endure in a Test match

But I think test matches are too long...it become hard to watch
Why not playing t20?

the cricket of 21 century (or new cricket type of game) could be played in total darkness. The ball could be very luminiscent, the cloathing, stumps, and lines also. That would be actually fun type of game :)

Test cricket is soo beautiful.. So many things happens in field in5 days of match ..it purest and prestiges form of cricket.. By the way test playing nations are not 10 it's 12 anymore Afghanistan & Ireland granted test status in 2017

It's basically "Test of Endurance" Cricket

My request to ICC is that the world cup must not only be limited in ODI and T20 format. Test World Cup is much more needed in the future. Without test cricket there is no cricket at all. Test cricket is the GOAT 🐐 format of cricket.

I'm assuming that these rules also apply to first class cricket, except for the number of days. Is this correct?
