Dude I really miss these days of wranglestar
ОтветитьThe latest edition is the 4th.
ОтветитьThis book is now in the 4th edition, but the author has gone off the deep end.
This book has some great raw data, but completely neglects other glaring long term threats. The author (who was a chairman of the Conservative National Committee for a couple years) is so blinded by his partisanship that he gives objectively bad insights. This book has pages explicitly dedicated to racism, as well as judgments of states' usefulness for relocation based on metrics like whether they are transphobic "(good)", whether they regulate alternative medicine, if their water is fluoridated, how they responded to the COVID19 pandemic, and explicitly whether or not they are primarily Republican. Hell, all of chapter 11 is just explicit conspiracy theory. These are at best personal shortcomings, if not actively counterproductive to his readers.
For example, he gives Idaho his top rating, despite being a stone's throw from the Yellowstone super volcano. He even has in the legend on the page a symbol for "potential volcano", but declines to identify one of America's most existential natural threats.
He also seems never to have heard of The Big One, or the San Andreas Fault in California that is overdue for an extraordinary earthquake. Despite rating California a 0 for retreat potential, this rating seems to have been purely politically motivated, from reading the state's 4 pages.
Another glaring (but unsurprising) omission- climate change. The author makes clear his aversion to science, but regardless of partisanship, the jury is in. Top military brass have identified climate change as the #1 security threat to America, yet somehow this book has never heard of it. So impacts like hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, ocean rise, drought, bomb cyclones, not to mention refugees from famine, are simply not of concern to the author.
If you are considering purchasing this book, it the one thing the author has done well is data collection. It should be read with a skeptical mind, and not taken as fact.
Wouldn't Colorado be a major target in a nuclear war? 🤔
ОтветитьThat sounds amazing , for those that can afford to up and haul buggy , most of those though, especially now , are renting because we can't afford a beautiful home to sell.and are barely making ends meet as it is .relocation is a pipe dream.for the other 80percent of us, we should be strategically learning how to hunker down, grow back yard gardens , stock pile water, learn were the closest water source is, for those with a basement: reinforce it with sandbags and 4x4s. The fact is most of us can barely afford the gas we're burning and the mouths we have to feed . Strategic relocation: for the rich.
ОтветитьHey Cody, I think I speak for everyone when I say I think we would all love to see you revisit this in the world that's emerged since then.
ОтветитьLouisiana?
Ответитьwhat’s you’re opinion on Maine?
ОтветитьVacker flagga som svajar där i vinden …on your homestead ❤️ 🇸🇪
ОтветитьI'm so glad to find this video, given that copies of this book are $300-$990 online right now! I'd love to get my hands on a copy, but this is second to that. Thank you
ОтветитьBear in mind that there are two Californias. The north, which has been wanting to secede for decades, is lightly populated, strongly conservative, and independent. I’d give it a 3+. Down sides are a lack of public transportation (small towns, far apart), few jobs, and always the threat of forest fires.
ОтветитьTime for a repost of this.
ОтветитьI noticed that a lot of the coastal states are ranked pretty poorly. That is where most of the population is in the U.S.
ОтветитьHave to disagree with Montana due to the missile base is a major target if nukes are used.
Ответитьgood video. thx.
ОтветитьCould you send me info on nevada
ОтветитьThank you for this review. Buying the book. Get Ready People !
ОтветитьA MUST MUST read for prepping and buying a homestead
ОтветитьCentral Nebraska and the upper peninsula of Michigan and Minnesota are the best
ОтветитьIt really depends where you live in Florida. If you want to live in Miami/Dade, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay area, or the I-4 corridor Florida is a very terrible place to live. Central to North Florida from Ocala to Tallahassee is just beautiful with fresh springs, year long planting season, good hunting, low crime, and great race relations. But, it is small town rural living and It is not for everyone. Where I live there are no schools within 30 miles.
ОтветитьWow, just grabbed a copy. Excellent resource as we are currently strategicly relocating..
ОтветитьWhy didn't you mention the Yellowstone volcano? If one nuke hits near it,most of America will have volcanic ash mixed with nuclear radiation!
ОтветитьWow, how the meaning of the phrase ‘safe places’ has changed over the past 10 years or so!!
To my generation it means a place that is good for surviving the likes of war/pandemics/civil unrest and to the most recent generation it means a place that is free from nasty people who use bad words and have ideas and opinions that can offend others, which are tantamount to physical violence.
Amazing…
Nuclear. Nu-cle-ar. Nuclear

ОтветитьA book for morons :)
ОтветитьSomething to note on the nuclear maps. Primary targets are not what you might think. Take the minuteman missile sites for instance. The strategy for those is called dense pack. It is a strategy that forces incoming missiles to hit the furthest sites first, then walk back and hit the next closest and so on. So, unless the ruskies are able to have hundreds of missiles in the air and well timed and a complete surprise and we are unable to get our birds in the air then they cannot get our sites. More likely by far is that their inbound missiles will pass our outbound missiles. If that is the case then their inbound missiles targeting our missiles would hit empty holes in the ground. The russians know this and do not target our missile sites for the most part (there are some they are still going after like command and control centers and a variety of others but the bulk are a waste of warheads). What they do target is Military assets, infrastructure, population centers etc. You still would not want to be near those dense pack areas simply because they will target the command centers so there would be enough radiation around to cause serious problems.
ОтветитьWow have been curious about this for a while
ОтветитьFlorida in 2021: 4 stars
ОтветитьTraining Ground for Proud Oath O KKK Boys
ОтветитьIn 2021 Colorado will not get 4 stars as said in this 8 year-old video.
ОтветитьThere’s a lot of strikes on the east coast as well one of them is Millington TN that’s definitely a target
ОтветитьWe need a updated video please 🙏🙏
ОтветитьHe did a breakdown of his book on the Alex Jones channel about 8 or 9 years ago. It was really cool
ОтветитьGetting this recommendation in 2021 during the push for vaccine mandates.
ОтветитьThis Video aged Very well
ОтветитьFeel even better about my move to a suburb of Toronto 30 years ago. You can't just be worried about a strategic SHTF location, you have to find a location that strikes a balance during good times and SHTF. While Toronto is getting really expensive now, thankfully I moved here when it was cheaper and bought a house 20 years ago. Job opportunities here were great years ago, still ok, getting worse, but I am fine I am quite secure. Toronto does not get earth quakes, hurricanes, tornadoes are usually well north of where I live and are rare. Living close to the bluffs, I am over 100 meters above sea level, so no major flood issues, but close enough to the lake if water was necessary. Drought that is plaguing the West coast of North America, is nowhere near Toronto, at 52 years old, by the time it makes it's way here, I'll be dead. Based on this video, Toronto is nowhere near a red zone. Oh yea, and I am a prepper, so even better.
ОтветитьI think it’s great that someone has done the research at this level, I’m going to get a book.
Thank You for sharing.
So when all those best places are taken are they really any safer any more? Heaven seems like the best choice. Live your life right, be good to your fellow man and believe and trust in God maybe you'll get there. If goodness prevails the rest doesn't matter.
ОтветитьGreat video
Ответить4th is out now
ОтветитьUtah has the Wasatch Fault which is going to cause a dangerous earthquake they say.
ОтветитьInteresting
ОтветитьI think it's funny that we will fell trees, shoot guns, use shop tools, climb mountains every day and count it all as acceptable risk (which it is) but then spend so much time thinking about the eventuality of a nuclear bombing or civil war. Come on people, chill out a little, we all take far more risks in daily life than will ever come from living in a populace state. There is no reason to arm ourselves to the teeth or reject society for "safety's sake" just live a life worth living and give freely of yourself so that when God calls us we have nothing to fear or run from. It is simply not worth the concern beyond simple caution and sensibility. I think this looks like a fun book from hobbies sake but this should not be a real concern in people's lives.
ОтветитьTheyre gonna turn my great state of AZ blue and destroy us like Cali
ОтветитьCan't wait to leave this idiot state of Washington. F off inslee
ОтветитьIf you love CNN & MSNBC they Definitely recommend hunkering down in SoCal and NYC area. Very safe, stay there.
