Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.

What a bunch of soft melts. Like soft serve in the sun and as sour as milk that's been left out too. No Netflix or overseas holidays? My heart bleeds.

I too always say 'it is what it is until it isnt'. Except, of course, when it isn't - and then it isn't what it is until it is. However, I do like to think that one day we'll all be able to say - hand in hand - that it is what it is because it IS, rather than submitting to it constantly not being what it is because it isn't :((

"Actually I just put an offer in for a flat, but I've been working for a couple years, so that's how I saved...But my mom has paid..I'd say..60% of my deposit..." and then 1 min later replying to how to save more "Cancel Netflix! ". Entitled brat...

Council tax 2500 a year for nothing.
Tv license 160 a year for nothing.
V.e.d (car tax) 180 a year for nothing.

The cost to park my car in a space that has existed for decades from as long as I've parked there has been £2.10 , now £5.50, why the increase?

If i could be arsed i could think of 10 other thins that have increased for no reason at all other than "they just have".

About the current bank situation, I'm really concerned. I am worried about a lot more if a bank the size of SVB may fail. I have a friend who manages a fast-growing startup and was severely impacted by the bank run. I have taken more than $840k out of my bank. Since the FDIC only provides coverage up to $250K, an implosion could have negative consequences. presently want to invest in the stock market. Does anyone have any ideas on how I might proceed?

When governments give their citizens any “extra” money, like for the pandemic … you better believe they WILL FIND A WAY TO TAKE IT BACK.

LIFE SUGGESTION:
So when you get money that’s suppose to help you out - just set it aside* for when they take it back.

*But that’s the problem - you weren’t getting enough in the first place!

"80k might not cut it. 100k minimum". These people are amazingly out of touch. Frightening. Then they have wealthy parents who will pay 60% of a deposit. Then they say idiotic things like cancel Netflix etc. Jesus wept.

I'm very glad they are eary so much money. If you think about their effective tax rate and their national insurance, I must say they're contributing quite a lot to the public finance. May I wish them earning more and paying more tax ❤. Living in a financial centre must be difficult.

😂 "A six figure salary in the North is better than trying to scrape by on the same in London." As a savvy C level executive said to me once on a temporary contract. Now self-employed, fully remote and childfree living on the edge of 2 national parks in the North - couldn't pay me any amount to work in London again.

Left wing channel. Yes, you do need to earn circa £60,000 to have a reasonable life and standard and living. And that is living and working outside of London.

My partner and I are both on well over 100k, but rather than waste money to pay for an expensive postcode, we live in up and coming areas - which aren't the nicest. We can then invest and save and support charities. We hope to retire by 55 and continue living modestly 🎉
