The reason the working title is Biohazard: RE1 is because that's how they name the remakes in Japan. They're made in Japan so it makes sense they're using the Japanese name during development. That's how it's definitely going to be called in Japan (if this game is actually in development, that is).

Biohazard: RE2 is Resident Evil 2
Biohazard: RE3 is Resident Evil 3
Biohazard: RE4 is Resident Evil 4

This new one is most likely going to be called Resident Evil 1 in America, since we've never had the number 1 in the title before, it fits with the other titles and it helps differentiate between the versions.

They should bring back the mechanic from the first remake that the zombies become crimson heads after some time unless the head is destroyed or they are burned

Also, maybe let Lisa Trevor have More roaming around, heck maybe some enemies from the 2nd and 3rd games remakes might get to be added!, make more for players to enjoy!

I called it that it would make sense for RE1 to get remade next because of the 30th year anniversary and to build Weskers character from the ground up. Obviously these are just rumors but it just makes sense that RE1 is next.

This is exactly what I wanted. Unique models for each individual zombie and unique voices too. I would love to see a brand new take on the Spencer mansion with a behind the shoulder gameplay.

I would also love to see an actual canonical ending with Chris, Jill, Rebecca and Barry! Capcom I am down for this remake remake if it is happening, good luck developing the game.

Not expecting any less tbh since they are remaking THE title, the main reason old fans got into the series, the one that already had one fantastic and EXTREMELY beloved remake already so they for sure are going the extra mile to not mess this up (especially after RE3R). Looking forward to it

Err, one thing I strongly disagree, I don't want any 1st person perspective RE games anymore, RE7 and Village was good, but I was never excited about their releasing, I play them just because I'm a fan of RE, but I would be so disappointed if they bring RE full on 1st person mode.

Noway they should combine re0 and re1 in one game. That way we’ll get twice shorter game and a huge part of original will be simply cutted
