He says “there’s nothing that makes this phone standout except for the dual screen case”... I disagree. This phone has a high definition headphone jack (the best on any smartphone). It has manual modes for video and photography, including “Focus MF” (Lg’s focus peaking). With the case it can do things that very few phones on the market can do. LG has taken time to fine tune the microphones and the phone offers more built in audio recording features than other phones. A more traditional flat glass screen. No camera bump (it doesn’t look like the cameras were an after thought add on.)

I don't think the second screen thing actually comes with the phone by default at purchase. I have the LG G8X ThinQ and I never even knew that there was a second screen adapter until I turned on this video. But honestly I absolutely HATE mobile fps and tps games anyway so I really don't care about the dual screen. I like my battery too much on top of the fact that in order to use the dual screen, you have to get over the ugly and annoying big black separation bar in between the two screens that basically negate the convenience of having all that extra real estate unlike the seamless Samsung Galaxy Fold or the Motorola Razr. The LG G8X ThinQ is an absolutely beautiful, powerful and jam packed smart phone in itself, without that crappy battery guzzling dual screen adapter. You're not missing out on anything...

They should make a case that IS a gamepad. Sort of like the PSP Go or ericsson xperia play. That would be AWESOME. I just prefer tactile feedback

I drop phones a lot. The case seems like it would protect the inside screens, but I'm worried about the front glass. I am having problems finding either a good protective glass for the front or a replacement case. Any ideas?

I've been using this for the last 5 months and I love it. Battery life is great when used without the second screen at 6-7 hours of screen time. It's about 5 hours of SoT with the second screen attached and used about 40-50% of the time.

I been rocking with LG sine the G3 and I'm not going back. The dac is just that shit! It makes my music sound so amazing. I'm most likely gonna pick this up when it drops in price because I don't need a new phone right now.

I myself don't care for headjack on a smartphone I use to love wired headphones to listen music but one morning I wake up and was having an ear problem so I go to the doctor right away he the doctor look in my right ear and take out a small round piece of object from my right ear right away I realized dat I never peel off that little piece of paper off of the head set dat u plug into ur ear so Fram dat day am into strictly Bluetooth headset very scary stuff nice video brother

Just double tap the screen to turn it on and off. Same as all lg phones for years. Every review I've seen they always use the soft keys to turn the second screen on and off. I just double tap and either use 3 fingers to switch the main display or use wide view and take up the entirety of the two displays
