Chord chasing
ОтветитьWhere is the link
ОтветитьIt's not beginner friendly lol, need more details video
Ответитьheyy contact lens?!!)) bravo best regards from Italy
ОтветитьYou did a great job in the beginning but did not explain how you jumped from one position to the next I guess I'm just not that smart please explain the difference of positions
ОтветитьThis is what I needed! Thanks! May I request looking at the guitar solo to Drinking Again, by: Neverland. Thank you!
ОтветитьI love this! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI love you 😂❤
ОтветитьMany years ago a famous musician in my country taught me a trick that doesn't require any fretboard knowledge, any musical knowledge or in fact anything at all outside of learning the shape of a single scale on guitar and most importantly, being able to duplicate what you hear, i.e. Playing by ear. The scale is mish-mash of major/minor and probably some mode, though since I have never seen anyone else use it I have no clue. Never bothered to figure out what it is really. Point is, that shape has two natural positions for every key and if you are lazy you can just pick a position for any particular song and stay right there. To find the poition, you just slide the first finger note on the fourth string until you find the fret that matches what you hear as the first note/root chord of the song. You can now play any progression of notes in that scale shape from anywhere in that shape and it will sound good. Yes it isn't EDV or Jimi, but even rank amateurs can do improvised solos.
ОтветитьThank you so much that makes perfect sense I can't wait to try it out as I I'm in the dark and you're right they make it sound complicated or "beat around the musical bush^ or they aren't specific enough but you have told me exactly what I wanted to hear if that makes sense
ОтветитьThanks for your time and help…
May God Bless You!!
I was so confident to a point then I peed myself. lol!
ОтветитьSir, you are the best guitar teacher.
Many explain how to play a melodic solo, but no one explains it as beautifully and comprehensibly as you.
Love from Austria(Europe) ❤
Clear as mud mate. Didn't work for me.
Ответить😂
ОтветитьOn scale escape, be an idea to highlight on fret display what your, for a better term - fingering
ОтветитьSo I know how to match a scale to the key of the song (somewhat) but where I’m lost is trying to keep time(in a band setting but by myself I’m ok once I learn the lead) and I don’t know how to match rhythm at all.
ОтветитьAwesome .....
ОтветитьI was following you until you jumped to showing how to play lead over the backing track. Then, you went into playing lead with really explaining how it ties together with the chords. You could improve the video by demonstrating an explaining step-by-step what year were doing and how it applies to the cords that you overlaid on the fretboard demonstration. It did not make sense at all to me after you showed the fretboard and showed how all the cords were overlay. From that point on nothing made sense. I have to give this a thumbs down. I hope you will fix it.
ОтветитьU shoud place the cords the same way u see them looking straight at the guitar
ОтветитьHi, great video 😀 can I ask what the software is that you used to enter the notes in the fretboard please?
ОтветитьVery useful technique..sir
ОтветитьLove you sir🇮🇳❤️❤️
ОтветитьWhere is the hammer on's and tapping???
ОтветитьThanks 👍❤ for this lesson tutorial
ОтветитьThank You!!!
ОтветитьYou have the exact guitar as me
ОтветитьStill don't understand how you find the notes on the scale
ОтветитьJust another teacher going from simple good explanations to rocket science right after
ОтветитьThis might be a dumb question but how did he just move the shape to different parts of the fret board? Is there like rules that you have to follow or can you just move the same shape anywhere??
ОтветитьReally useful! Thank You!
ОтветитьThats some awesome tone and feel...very Neal Schonn-esque...thanks David...watta lesson

ОтветитьNice if u show the different chords with different colours will make more understand 🙏
ОтветитьAm I completely retarded, or guitar is not for me? Watched video carefully 3 times. Understood only first 5 min. Then teacher just goes soloing.
Ответитьthank you for making it simple. I have tried learning this in other ways and it was always confusing. This is simple.
ОтветитьHands down this is the best how to start soloing video on youtbue
ОтветитьThank you so much for letting yourself been used by God to acquire and share this wisdom. May He continue to bless you !
ОтветитьMy god that solo sounds so damn good and you made it in a way that a child could understand.
Ответитьi get the first ideas of the chords at the top of the neck, but i lose it when h starts further up the neck sad to say
ОтветитьI don't like any American teacher because they 1st talk and talked than teaching manually
ОтветитьPoints noted sir
