Divi tutorial: How to create a coming soon page with Divi

Thanks for the video--one big question: How do I get rid of the top navigation bar? At :55 seconds into this video you instruct us to click on 'Visual Builder', and when you do it, your site doesn't have the default 'divi' nav bar with the divi logo to the left and 'uncategorized [search]' to the right that I have. I've gone to 'theme options' and disabled the 'fixed navigation bar' button, but its still up there....?

I made everything according to the video but the picture still doesn't covers the whole screen, there is a "white stripe" to see.
Help please! :)

You designed a page but you didn't put the page into 'coming soon' mode and block access to the rest of the site.

The css code was: height:100vh;
