Drawing a Massive Dotwork Mandala
A massive dotwork mandala I drew with traditional techniques (compass and straightedge). It took five 6-8 hour sessions. I thought when it was over I'd be excited but I couldn't look at it anymore. I was over it. The next day I got to take it all in and I was really pleased with what I'd created.

So beautiful! I'd love to have that on my wall. I only did a mandala with about three feet in diameter. And that's on a piece of wood I placed on the wall. And far less subtle. Hope you never place any furniture infront of it. I alraedy watched this vid a dozen times... So well done.

I've done some dot work on little mandalas before, and it was SO hard to keep the dots looking evenly random. They started forming rows. Great job! Makes me want to try.

For this art specifically!
Fantastic work. You use the same type of compass as I do, but That other stuff for making bigger circles I have never seen before, I used a loop of string around a drawing pin! Different materials though. I like your dot work, really great.
