Tie dye your sheet!

I did this a couple summers ago. And I love it.
This video is just to give you the idea that you can tie dye your sheets. I love ours and use it all the time!
Another item I tie dyed is a dish towel. You might see it in some of my cooking videos. I love it.

We used an old white cotton sheet that we'd had for years. If you buy a new one (natural fibers are best - cotton, linen etc) , They say to pre-wash new ones first. It will be the correct dampness after it's spin dried.
It's best to get a tie dye kit. The one I used was a Patriotic Kit. It has everything you need - bottles of dye, rubber bands, gloves, project guides and refills.
There are different ways you can do it. We folded ours lengthwise and tied them with plastic ties, but you can use rubber bands. You can also swirl it in a circle and put rubber bands on it to hold its shape.
If using an old sheet, dampen your sheet a little before squirting the die on.
We folded ours up and placed it in a garbage bag and let it set overnight, but I don't think you have to do that.
Hang it up on a clothesline of sorts and spray away.
When finished, put it by itself in the cold cycle of your washing machine and then in the dryer.
Put on your bed and enjoy!
