That second Yamaha is rather luscious.

The Yamaha CFX is very expansive but sound really great !

The first one sounded tinny.

I suspect that listening to it through my computer with a $30 head set would explain why I can't hear any difference.

This video is unfair to the upright. You could have at least tuned it if you’re going to include it. It definitely had a fuller, richer sound than the 1st baby grand.

I honestly couldn't tell the difference between most of these. I'm sure there are some sound differences but I could tell you which was the most expensive or more moderately priced.

I'd love to hear that Yamaha CTX compared to the huge Alexander Piano....the Alexander has such a fenomical clear and deep tight sound to it. Would be awesome to hear them side by side!

It's like all comparisons.
For example: Cheap speakers vs High-End speakers, W Beatle Vs Ferrari, etc etc. If a product is exaggeratedly more expensive, it is supposed to be exaggeratedly better. All in all I like the more metallic sound and maybe a bit strident of the first piano apart of course from the price.

600 dollar cost piano is giving better sound than 363000 dolar costed.

I actually most enjoy the sound of the cheapest piano. It has a nice old timey ragtime sound that I love.

With my skill which is level 0, I would prefer the $600 one so I won’t feel guilty as they will both end up as a piece of furniture

I have a question: Why had you to play on a expensive Yamaha and not just take a Steinway/Fazioli/Bösendorfer? They from another class and not more expensive.

Разница определённо есть. Мне больше всего понравилось как звучат второе и четвертое пианино. Последнее тоже вроде бы хорошо звучит, но одним только звуком такую стоимость не оправдать. Скорее всего к этому пианино в комплекте прилагается японская семья потомственных пианистов, а иначе - деньги на ветер.

This video is seriously flawed because these test we’re done in different rooms with different acoustics. I am a retired professional piano tuner, and I am telling you there are major differences that can be heard between five of the exact same model, and exact same year high in grand pianos were made in the same year. Most viewers can hear the difference between a cheap upright piano versus an expensive grand piano.

Love hearing you play the piano, other than that the video is a waste of time as it proves nothing.

There is no difference when you're listening an instrument through headphones or speakers. To evaluate real sound you should stay near by the instrument.
