Is it possible to use effects while recording with the two mics on top? I can't find any videos that show how to apply effects to vocals on the H4n.

Maybe talk instead of pointing? You have a recording device at your fingers! Lol

Great ... No waffle, clear obvious simple directions. Anything in there for vocal effects ?

I checked a Zoom H5 at work. It doesn't seem to have this feature, or has it been moved? I've been told Zoom recorders should have effects, but got really few search hits.

Question: I just got one of these, I can figure out how to turn the effects on for channel 1, but OFF for channel 2. Trying to play guitar on one input and watch a lesson video on the other. Problem is that the lesson video sounds like its coming through a Vox Amp

Ok I guess I should have pointed out it's the same effects you are showing in the video, but there are 2 pre amps for vocals, which I know nothing about. And trying to get the best sounding vocals using the reverb or delay effects, but it just sounds like I have way too much or something. I have tried using less but still not right. Just need advice on what to set the parameters to for singing instead of guitar.

If you go to MTR mode hit the menu button, scroll down to effects and turn them on, you can then scroll through a list of effects. I have been looking into applying reverb or delay for singing songs because it sounds better in the mix. But my issue is that there is a bunch of different parameters on each one and I don't know the best way to set them. If that makes more sense.

I'm trying to find a good video on using the reverb or delay for recording vocals. I have come to understand that they are not the best but it's all I have, and I am new to recording vocals in general let alone the best possible way to apply the effects. I know how to do it all just need alot of help on the amounts and all that, and can't seem to find anything on this because everyone seems to have a better program on a PC that they use afterwards. But this is my only option as of right now. Would greatly appreciate any help or advice at all.

Is your guitar connected directly to the zoom via XLR or is it going through a separate amp?
