Pre-cast haste with metamagic twinned spell and surprise your enemies it's OP. Most times they dont even have a chance to attack
Ответитьafter 500h and 8 runs in tactic mode, for me the most fun classes are
1) rouge/ barde
2) warlock/ sorcerer
3) monk/ rouge
4) ranger/ rouge
I did not enjoy so much
1) paladin with whatever multiclass
2) wizard/ cleric
3) druide
also made a dark urge run – very cool and shows you, how evil you can really be. 😅
I'm not sure it should necessarily break top 5, but my current strongest build is Tempest Cleric with Phalar Aluve (Shriek), Cloak of displacement, Gloves of Belligerent Skies, Holy Lance Helm, Luminous Armor, Callous Glow Ring. Upcasting radiant Spirit guardians and forcing enemies to make opportunity attacks just PUMPS out damage, and with the gloves they'll eventually fall prone. CRAZY aoe damage and control, especially if you can use fly and Click Heels. Cover the entire battlefield if you're hasted from a wizard!
ОтветитьI feel like most of these builds are more about the power rather than the fun. I'm really looking for a fun class that will hold my attention throughout the entire game but most of the ones I've seen seem to exclusively focused on the late game. I cant even get to the late game because I keep getting bored with my class by act 2
ОтветитьI'm just starting. I want to play on the Bard Full support. How should I start?
Ответить8 into ranger 4 into theif rouge. Two normal actions and two extra actions with so much sinergy for stealth killing entire platoons of enemys. Use darkness and dark vision to never fail stealth checks
ОтветитьDon’t sleep on Monk! Monk has so many uses all throughout the game! And insane levels of damage by end game, especially paired with thief rogue! Upwards of over 300 damage a turn! Plus great skill at lockpicking and sneaking! It’s at least #6, #3 in my opinion
ОтветитьCurrently A pure draconic sorcerer which is specializes in a High Aoe dmg which applies scaled debuffs on hit so fighters and swordman typically autolose a turn. As for defence by subclass combines with mirror image and a couple of clothing items scales to AC+28 so I'm hard as hell to hit lol
ОтветитьJust a thought you should add sections to your vids so we can just go to the build we want instead of scrolling through the video.
ОтветитьThis guy just goes on bg3builds subreddit and takes builds there. Save yourself the time
ОтветитьIn my opinion, the bard is also the strongest, but somehow I find him boring. Paladin has the problem that he has so few slots. I actually found Fighter/Champion to be one of the best because he can slaughter everything without slots, has good movement, can take a lot of punishment, can deal damage well and can jump far. The disadvantage is that in the end you only have one attack, but that's actually enough to get through.
Ответитьit be cool to see videos dedicated to one specific class as primary focus and hybrids involving that class. ie. best 5 cleric builds, best 5 ranger builds, etc.
Seeing these build videos and almost everyone has the same 3 classes as the focus is boring af.
not mentioning ranger with the gloomstalker or rogue assasin or even better gloomstalker assasin is a crime
you get expertise in sleight of hand which is the most used ability check in the game and can focus on persuasion or deception and thats outside of combat.
In combat its even more busted as on one side you get gloomstalker which gets you an extra attack waaaaay earlier than other classes and the other side you get assasin which can attack first ask questions later which gives back all actions and bonus actions at the start of combat which grants not just 1 extra attack but once level 5 you get to use your extra attack first from outside of combat before using the refreshed action/bonusaction.
this means you get 2 extra hits
both classes get to almost always go furst in combat which is HUGE in honour mode.
Then l1st poibt with the amount of special arrows its by far the greatest class because when using arrow of many targets combined with the amount of attacks they get combined with their first place in initiative makes for 70% of the battlefield being gone before they get a turn
Thanks for the video
ОтветитьI saw the videos of morgana evelyn about stealth builds. I picked bard for my honor mode run for the exact same reasons you listed, but the damage potential if you push stealth bard builds to the limit is insane!
ОтветитьBard. Bards are insane. The Titanstring build can be made as early as act1, give a SHITTON on utility to the whole party. They give damage, CC, an extra Short Rest (WTF?).
And of course, they're an excellent party face.
And they do all that in ACT ONE, while every other class is barely waking up.
bard dual hand crossbow with sword subclass is insane damage. get sharpshooter feat at lvl 4. meaning once you get your extra attact at lvl 6 another character have haste buff for you, or use a potion. and later with 2 lvl fighter for fighting style and for action surge. you get to attack 2 times pr attack with flurry. so thats 2 from regular action, 2 more for the extra attack, then 2 for the extra action from haste, then 2 for the extra attack, then 2 from action surge, and 2 for the extra attack from action surge. then you have your offhand shot for a total of 13 attacks, all dealing +10 damage from sharpshooter, meaning around 20 damage in act 1 pr shot. so a total of around 250 damage if all hit their target. its only in the first round sure and you might run out of bardic inspiration really fast. but with this build and a bit of lock with the attack roles, i have ended fights before the enemy even got a turn. if u then have a character / showvel pet initiate the fight from invisible, then you get a round of surpriced on the enemy, so you get to do it all twice, even tho you wont have bardic inspiration enough to do it all again. and that is just the bard, then you have the rest of your team to mop op the rest. really strong give it a try if you get the change, cant confirm if it will work as well on honor mode but on tactician it carries all on its own =)
ОтветитьEldritch Knight reaches its peak power early in Act 3 in my humble opinion.
There are better armors and weapons for general use than what I’m about to mention but this specific setup lets you lockdown enemies in a fairly large area.
Gear:
Rippling force mail
Gloves of Belligerent Skies
Swires’ Sledboard
Warped Headband of Intellect OR Helmet of Arcane Acuity
Boots of Striding/Boots of Speed
Vivacious Cloak for more tanky/ Thunderskin for better CC.
Charged Bound Hammer
Any amulet but my top picks are Pearl or Power, Spell Crux, Branding.
Elemental Infusion and really any other ring. There are so many you can add for flavor/utility/damage.
The entire build is Active at the start of Rivington but the majority of it is active as early as Last Light Inn for the hammer. You can also go the arcane synergy route if you’re using the Intellect Headband.
You can multi into wizard for a better spell selection. EK 5/Wiz 7 is good, EK 7/Wiz5 is good, EK10/Wiz2 can make the character incredibly hard to kill.
EK10/Wiz 2 can be strong and an interesting support if you have a rogue due to enemies you hit having disadvantage against gust of wind (off-balance = advantage) but avoid concentration spells unless you want to use the Greater Health Amulet.
First few characters I made were paladins because of all the hype. I’ll never do that again. Are they strong? Sure but do are a bunch of others that aren’t completely wiped after one fight.
ОтветитьMoon Druid, easily OP, also talking to animals and animal handling helps u so much throughout the game. Easily should be top 5.
ОтветитьI loved your build videos, when I first started playing. But now, I dunno, it's sort of feel likes you don't actually play the game, everything feels so uninspired or just wrong.
I dunno is it just me?
Please make a video for Drow Dark Urge Witcher Build.
ОтветитьHave they fixed the Xbox save game bug yet? No point it playing until they do
Ответить2 paladin the rest swords bard.
ОтветитьPaladin has to be the most boring class, picked it for honour mode and had to respect out of grudge 😂
Ответитьid love to see a top 5 late game builds with muliclass to work towards. mine are:
1. 5lvl gloom stalker/4rouge assassin/3fighter champion with consumable arrows. (crit machine with multitarget arrows or huge damage on one enemy with 100+ damage per action potential.
2. 6 way of open hand monk / 4 rouge thief/ 2 fighter ( potentially 4 bonus actions with the helmet of grit and wholeness of body for 80 plus damage potential per bonus action. Along with tons of damage from normal actions. then i use warding bond from gale at camp for resistance to all damage.
3. level 10 storm sorcerer/ 2lvl tempest cleric (nuke enemys with level 6 cromatic orb/witchbolt with luck of far realms crit and wet foes does potentially 250+ damage and twinned spell to damage a second foe for around half damage.
4.10 lvl sword bard/ 2 vengence paladin. ( 5th spell level divine smite on reaction to flourish damage for 100+ damage per attack potential. Along with crazy utility that comes with bard and from magical secrets. spirit guardians, haste, counter spell. Also can use enchantment or illusion spells as bonus action with the ring after attcking (hypnotize, hold person, hold monster, ect)
5. 5 frenzy Barbarian, 4 thief rouge, 3 champion fighter ( fun throw build; Throw from high up to crush foes with nyrulna or dwarven throw hammer. nyrulna for aoe and dwarven hammer will do more damage to large foes and after you shapeshift to a dwarf you'll do additional damage again. have an extra bonus action for enraged throw.
I disagree on bard having great spells. Nearly every spell they use is concentration and they have few 1 off spells. No argument on the party face.
ОтветитьWarlock gang
ОтветитьI really hope you guys are gonna make vids on palworld game looks wild
ОтветитьCleric is the most essential class for Honour mode. Aid is needed to prevent companions from getting one-shot. Warding Bond, Death Ward, and Sanctuary are nearly essential too. All other classes are replaceable except cleric.
ОтветитьSo my favorite setup is a rogue/thief + ranger/gloom.
* You could also put 2 levels In fighter to get the refresh but it makes you short rest dependant :( *
Its a great opener for any fight especially if you put a point in the Alert feat (since you always start first).
You aren't very short/long rest dependant like most other classes. (Basically Every class that casts spells)
It's incredibly self sufficient, having access to longstrider, enhanced leap, and disguise self a non spellcaster is OP. (ALL are infinite use and none of them cost a spellslot either so win-win)
Some folks suggest using Bows (specifically 2 handcrossbows) and I do use them if range is my only option but my preference is dual wield melee.
It's just really versatile, hard hitting, and safe.
With all that said...
Bardock is hands down the best combo class. All speech moments are cake. The sheer amount of spells/utility and full charisma eldritch blasts, which is just a cantrip, make this combo op. The bard on its own is strong but with warlock as a subclass it's just chef's kiss
I can get behind the bard ranking. At first I was like "Bard?! What?!". But then I thought about it. My last 3 playthroughs had at least 1 bard multiclass characters in it, and one of them had two. 2 pally/10 bard? Endless smites, and half the time you don't even need smites. 6 sword bard/3 assassin/3 Gloomstalker = best bow build in the game. 3 goolock/9 lore = control + support aficionado. In fact, that build singlehandedly trivialized so many fights in the game for me. Raphael can't do crap when he's in the corner prone and confused.
ОтветитьNo mention of Dual Hand Xbow Bard?.. :(
ОтветитьI found an neat Build online which is around the Theme of being an Succubus(or Incubus for an Male Character) which uses 2 Level of Pact of the Archfey and 10 Level Loremaster Bard
ОтветитьPlease understand that this channel is meant for new players. They do an amazing job setting you up for new campaigns, BUT STAY AWAY if you’re looking for honor run ideas.
ОтветитьI'd love to see your take on the top multiclass builds.
ОтветитьCan we all agree that the worst face of the party is a Moon druid? 😢
ОтветитьI strongly agree with most of the arguments, however i would replace a battle master with a cleric.
Clerics as supports have too much impact on the honor mode playtroughs, making them so much safer: guidance, help, ligning orb stacking on enemies to ensure they cannot really damage you, while you are dealing big aoe to them. Also later in the game - heroes feast and a divine intervention if your party critically messes up and almost dies. Also you can replace your 'used up' cleric with another one and have a divine cheat code once again. Incredible!
Thanks you for new BG3 vids 😅 I watched all the others 😅 I need more BG3 content
ОтветитьBard to me is the absolute best. It’s just stupid how much value it is. Running a build right now using Titanstring bow and elixir of giant strength to maximize damage per shot. Slashing flourish decimates anything. I’m doing 60 damage in one flourish at level 7. You can do it 3-4 times in one round and massacre everything. Then all your Bard points reset after a short rest which you get an extra one being a bard
Ответить6/6 paladin bard. 'nuff said
ОтветитьActually informative take. Always appreciate that. The one thing I was really surprised was not seeing monk at number 1. It is by far the best class for overall combat. Not only is it super straightforward but arguably the highest damage dealing build in a single turn. Tavern brawler monk is the staple of honour mode runs. So I would definitely put it in number 1.
So for me top 5 (5-1 order) would be: Fighter, Sorcerer, Bard, Paladin, Monk.
Wizard is good but definitely not top 5
How is you paladin sorcerer level 13?
ОтветитьDon't do what I did, don't jump into the spider nest like an idiot.
ОтветитьI think the out of combat focus may have skewed things. Due to the general ability to just prepare a battlefield in this game you only need 1 party face. The list felt very party face focused. Throwbarian has some of the most consistent and effective dps in the game. Most of the time you can spend a few minutes prepping a battlefield with a crate tower and just hitting consistent 50 damage throws from your artificial high ground. Surprise is also generally one of the strongest mechanics in both dnd and Bg 3. A free turn makes most fights just end before the enemy gets a turn. Invis helps but pass without a trace does it the whole day. They did a good job with itemization and balancing in this game but non of it is stronger than preparing the battlefield, surprise, and barrelmancy.
ОтветитьI mean if we're going with in and out of combat, it can only be bard or one of the other charisma based classes.
ОтветитьPerma invisible bard with duel handcrossbows and added elemental rolls in broken.
ОтветитьInteresting to see someone not put the paladin at number one
ОтветитьHallow cooke.
ОтветитьI don't get the Paladin hype after playing one. Always felt like I was burning through resources at the same pace as a short rest class, but everything was long rest.
Ответить
