Even if I was using a regular revolver, I doubt I'd trust my aim beyond 5 to 10 meters and that's pushing it.
I've seen a few videos of this gun and the proof is in the pudding. Obviously, it's personal defense that we care about and, no, I'm not looking to kill anybody. Also, it costs less than $200 USD. That's a whole lot less than a Taser even. Worth it, imo.
For anyone wondering, the joule conversion is about 8 to 20 foot pounds. Let's be honest, it's not going to scare a wild animal (I'm talking about the big ones. For the rest, I scare them just by being there. heheh), but it's got teeth and would make a drug addled aggressor possibly think twice just by looking at it.

Very cool video, great content. I purchased these based on your video, and was really disappointed in the results. The feet per second was slow and the penetration was very shallow. I think if the Z-RAMS were made from titanium or magnesium based materials the results would be better. And also if they were shot from a pistol that had rifling the results would of been much better. What we did learn, if you drop one of these rounds into the barrel of a marine flare pistol after the flare has been inserted, oh my gosh, the damage is devastating and with no damage to the plastic flare gun that you can purchase at Walmart.

I do think the reason they didn't go thru the first can was because that can was closer to the brick, so it hit that before it had a chance to go thru.

Just for reference the FBI standard lethality on a 10% ballistic gel target is 6-8 layers of denim and 12-14 inches of penetration.

I've never seen a revolver with a magazine as you called it. The ones ive seen have cylinders.

I think this in some between.30-.40 caliber would work better for self defense. Make the slug longer and sharper like a 762 and it would have alot more penetration

You should run the 50 and 68s in a full sized paint ball gun, something that runs on a higher pressure than the 12 gram CO2 cans.

The barrel extensions look hideous and do absolutely nothing for the function why on earth would anyone want one.

Fill the hollow insides with a inertia reactive explosive like gun powder or tanerite. It's a small small reservoir maybe as much as a 22short can hold. Compress the powder down, cut down a nail so it's flush stick it into the center of the powder and then seal with a drop of super or hot glue to keep it all in tact

If the force from the CO2 sending the projectile out of the barrel isn't enough to set off the powder or have the nail compress in and set off the powder then it will for sure explode upon impact.

If they do go off in the barrel you may have issues idk what material the barrel is. I know some 3d printed ar15s barrels that hold and with such a small charge over such a large caliber and bore a simple cheap steal or aluminum smooth barrel would be able to handle it no problem. It'll increase velocity for sure. Prob get you into the 22short to 22magnum power range 60-120fpe. Although if one were to hollow the hole out even more making the walls super britle it would be better as s exolode on contact device. It has enough energy to pierce clothes and a ince or two of flesh, once inside the flesh or as its entering if the explosion goes off and the weaker walls lose integrity it'll basically be like having a small explosion go off a couple inches under your skin
