Apple Vision Pro Gaming - Before You Buy

Just buy a Quest 3 if you wanna get into VR without a PC(or with a pc lol the Q3 is amazing)

They kind of shot themselves in the foot by not including controllers with the Apple vision Pro. It limits the whole thing to pretty simple games unless you're cloud streaming or something

Vr simracing on my quest 3 has been awesome I think vr is definitely up there now if you have the specs for it. There is a lot of fun to be had especially on the fps games as well.

When you said you bricked your ipod. I have a funny story, When I was a kid, Ai wanted to jailbreak my ipod 4 sooooo bad but I didn't have a computer or internet so I literally went to Best Buy and me and my brother used the display MacBooks to jailbreak our iPods, it worked for my brother but for some reason my iPod got all messed up, it randomly turned off and turned back on and was stuck showing the apple logo infinitely so I did the thing where you hold down the lock button and the home button and it force resets your ipod and when it turned on, a bunch of my apps were missing, liek the apple apps like the App Store and FaceTime and like half of my apps and also any apps that was not an apple app would instantly crash when I tried to open it. I went to the settings and tried to completely factory reset my iPod but it would do that thing where it gets stuck showing the apple logo again, I was so scared so luckily me and my dad went to denny's to use their free wifi and he let me use his windows laptop to get iTunes and and I plugged my iPod in and on iTunes, I restarted my iPod and I was so happy, I was like 13 back then and I was so scared because my iPod was the only technology thing I had, I didn't have a computer or an Xbox or anything else

I love and am thoroughly interested in the concept a device like this could bring to the table, especially as the technology progresses, but good God from ANYONE but apple ideally. The price, ecosystem, and closed source nature of their products, poor customer service and repair service, and overall limited usability just about anything from apple has doesn't make it even remotely worth it.

Let me ask, could you play a game on console with the passthrough, or does it cause an effect on the screen of other devices ? I couldnsee wearing some lenses with a YT video or music off to one side, if the screen in front of me was perfectly clear. Just seems gimmicky

You are right that app developers need to take advantage of the Vision Pro's potential. It will only continue to grow from here. Once Apple improves the device, especially by making the HMD independent of the Mac, it will be even more powerful.

I will never understand Apple product consumers. There's no reason to buy an apple product. iPhones are terrible. They're nowhere near as good as other phones. They're for simpletons. People used to say Macs are always better at editing videos, but that's not even close to true anymore. All of their products are overpriced and under built. The only reason people buy them is because it's a status symbol when you spend $1,500 on the newest iPhone every year. Like I'm not going to say I have the best phone. I mean it just goes to show how overpriced and useless their products are, especially since the Apple vision is $3500. Only $3,000 more than a VR headset. And 3000 times more useless.
