WLED for Beginners in 2022 (PLUG n' PLAY!)

I updated the app version and now the app would not load. Also the WiFi is not showing is there a way to do a complete reset of the athom controller or do I need a new one

how do i control the leds from my computer? i can only seem to controller it with my phone

I've connected the power supply but my Athom LS-4P won't turn on...I can't find it in discovery or WIFI settings. I've tried swapping the electrical wires, clicking the on/off button - nothing.

Is it possible for WLED to combine two or more controllers/strips into one virtual strip so that an animation which ran down the first strip would then continue seamlessly to the next and so forth?

Hi I have the same hardware you are showing but I am not seeing the wled stuff when i connect to the IP adress. I'm not sure what to do...

hi, i have a problem with my light strip. Im using everything that you are using. So my light strip is only showing a few lights, and they are all a different colour. i can't change the color on the color wheel and the effects don't work either. I tried evrything. I started with esp32 boards but all the same problem. can anybody help? Because i'm about to give up.

I have a 10A 12V power supply, the athom controller and a WS2612E LED Strip and after connection everything just like in the video my LED Strip started to make cracking noies and gets really really hot. So I assume the LED is now ripped - can someone help me and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I want to run LED strips in my basements coffered ceiling. I have 17, 4’ x 4’ squares. I would prefer to go the DIY route with addressable LED’s. Any recommendations for power and controller?

when i se 12v? i have to select 12v 35mA? right

but its 5v so not recommende for longer uses better variant it the w2813 because when there one led is broke the rest of the strip after the broken one still works

Does the WLED application for smartphones work without being connected to the Wi-Fi network;;;;; I know that you have to setup the WLED through the Wi-Fi network but after that can we use the controller via Bluetooth in a place without Wi-Fi network;

Very nice video. Easy to understand and follow up. I was wondering if you know it is possible to program a segment in WLED? What I mean is this. EVery time I turn on the power, I want the strips do 1 or 2 side walks and stop. After that they should stay on before I trurn the lights of. Is it possible? Thank you in advance

Do these LEDs take time to turn on? I am considering rigging up a strip to the light switch going down the stairs of my basement.

Is it possible to only add effect when I TURN ON the lights that effect will go from one side to another and slowly turn them on ite. And also for turning off?

Any way to use a physical remote to control this same setup? Just basic function is fine so that anyone can turn on of and change brightness without having to use the WLED phone app.
Ideally a WiFi remote as the infrared remotes need line of sight to work and my setup won't allow that

Hopefully someone reads this and i can save them the headache i went through thats NOT explained in this video. DONT just go buying any athom controller as they make a version that looks EXACTLY like the one in the video buy cannot do anything explained in this video. And ive tried flashing the other one unsuccessfully… you would most likely need one that has a VCC, Data, Clk, GND conmector. The other similar controller has VCC, R, G, B, W.. and it DOESNT WORK. (AND TRUST IVE BEEN ASKING THE COMMUNITY WITH LITERALLY NO RESPONSE FROM ANYBODY. So after being almost $100 in trying to figure out what im doing so wrong let me help the newbie on the information NOT explained in this video

I’d tried to set up the wifi a couple times, at first it shows on the wifi network but i can’t cofigure the controller after sometime the led conrtoller is not showing on my wifi network, please help 🙏🏻 I’m using a 11.1v Lipo battery.
